Chapter 12
Treasure's pov:
Liz has been driving for a good 20 minutes ignoring my continuous pesters of 'where are we going?'. Making a sharp turn, we soon stopped at a gate.
Liz put her window down pressing numbers on the pin pad. "Liz?" Her lips curling into a smile.
"Yes T."
"For the love of god, where are we?" I said looking around. She came to a stop in front of a house.
"You know that one episode of jessie where they were on a plane?" I nodded my head once confused on what she was getting at. "You sound like Zuri, who kept asking 'Are we there yet?'" She said with a chuckle.
"Yea well maybe I wouldn't keep asking if you had just answered." She shook her head before stepping out of the car. "And you know what, maybe Zuri wouldn't have to keep asking if someone just answered her too." I said while standing outside the car.
She walked to the door while I stayed still by the car. She knocked and waited a few seconds before someone answered the door.
"James?" I went to him giving him a hug. "How you doing, T?" He said in between our hug. "I'm good, what about you?" I said stepping back from our hug.
"I'm good."
"As much as I love this cute reunion, we came cause we need your help." Walking over to Liz who was at the trunk, James gave us a confused look. He opened it, backing away the moment he saw the body. "Woah. Did y'all kill a person? Hell nah. I am not helping y'all dispose a body." He said freaking out.
"James, relax, we didn't kill him."
"We need your garage." Liz said.
"Amari." James shouted. A few seconds later and Amari came stepping out the door. "Hey Amari."
"Wassgud T." He came giving me a hug. Going over to give Liz a hug he stopped mid-way. "Woah, is he dead?"
"No he's not, can you help us move him, please?" Liz asked. Amari nodded his head, putting his phone in his pocket, getting ready to lift his upper body and James taking his legs.
Liz and I cleared the way for them so they could make their trip faster. Opening doors for them and moving things from the floor.
Making it into the garage, we put the man in a chair, still unconscious. Tying down his hands and legs before James spook up again. "How did this happen?"
"Oh, I ran him over with T's car." He blanked at Liz not saying anything before leaving the room with Amari on his tail.
Looking around the room, I found a hose on the ground. Walking to it I picked it up and turned it on to see if it worked. Walking in front of the man, I raised the hose up and sprayed the man until he jumped up.
"Rise and shine." Liz said, leaning on the table. Shaking his head to get rid of some of the water off his face, "Where am I?"
"You, my friend, are in a garage." I spoke up, putting the hose down. "My men are going to find me, and I hope they keep you alive so I can kill you bitches myself."
"Woah there tiger."
"Someone's a little feisty after their nap." Liz said with a small chuckle making me join her.
"Yea if your men consisted of the ones in the garage earlier, welp they're all dead."
"Oh, trust and believe I have more."
"Good for you, nobody cares. Now we're going to make this simple. We ask questions and you answer, yes?"
"What do you want?"
"Didn't I just say we're gonna be the one asking questions?" I looked at Liz.
"No that's exactly what you said." She responded.
"So then why is he asking questions?"
"I have no idea." Turning my head back to the man, he seemed very annoyed.
"What's your name?"
"Kiss. My. Ass." He gritted out. I grabbed the hose from the floor and turning it on. Soaking him, making him drown for a good minute. Stopping, and putting the hose down. I looked at him composing himself.
"What's your name?" I said seriously with no more humor in my tone.
"Edguardo." He said out of breath. Well that was easy. It's not like I asked a very important question anyways.
"Edguardo what?"
"Amerez." Me and Liz gave each other a look before she left the room.
"Okay Eduardo what can you tell me about this person?" He looked up at the photo I held in front of his face. The picture consisted of the dead body in front of his house. One of the pictures that was in the file.
"I don't know who that is?"
"You don't know the dead the body that's in front of your house?"
He looked me dead in the eye and said, "No."
Picking up the hose and setting the water pressure a little higher, "Wrong answer."

Elizabeth's pov:
"I need you guys to find information on a guy named Edguardo Amerez." James rolled his chair to his computer. "Is that the guy, y'all are torturing in my garage?"
"We're not even torturing him for real. It's just water." He made a loud sigh. "What do you need?"
"Everything. Anything that could help us get him talking." I took a rolling chair, moved it closer to his and took a seat. He started doing his magic getting lost in his typing, hacking thing.
"Where's Amari?" I gazed around the room to notice he went off somewhere after helping with the body.
"I don't know. Maybe finding something to stuff his face in."
Minutes past. I didn't go back to check on T because I'm actually scared to see what she's done to poor Edguardo. We're like good cop back cop. I'm good, she's bad. It could be the other way around sometimes, but I like it when she does it. I'm only bad cop if it's taking too long and I'm running out of patience and let's just say her patience is lower than mine.
"Done." James said making me snap my head up from my phone. "What is this?" I said not understanding what I just read. Getting up from my chair, I walked over to the garage door. Opening it, I seen T spraying Edguardo with the hose having a bored expression on her face.
His face was red from the water pressure. Raising my eyebrows at the scene, she stopped seeing me having to talk to her. "When I come back I better have an answer." She said to him before coming my way. "Find anything?" I asked her.
"Little things but he's such a fucking dick. Please tell me you guys found something."
"We did but it's weird."
"How weird?"
"See for yourself." I pointed toward the screen that confused me the most. His records. The time he spent in jail doesn't match up to all the crimes he's done. "Wait I'm lost." She spoke up after she took a minute to read the screen.
"How has he only done 4 years of jail after murdering more than a dozen people. Make it make sense."
"Exactly. But we'll worry about that later for right now we found out he has a family. His wife divorced him after he went to jail. Probably after figuring out he's killed people. He has 2 kids who moved to LA. We could use that to make him talk. I got an idea."
