Chapter 2
Treasure Pov:

After the FBI left, we went back to our section and went over the files they gave us for hours. Started to try to come up with plans on how everything's gonna go.

"Y'all guys sure y'all wanna do this?" Devontae asked when we were packing up to leave.

"Yea, I mean what's the worst that could happen?" I realized what I said after I said it.

"Uhh you could get caught, then they could kill you, find out that we're helping you then they find us and kill us too, then bury our bodies for no one to find us." Santiago said while opening the door for us to leave.

"What he said."  Elizabeth said while unlocking her car.

"Okay yea you're right but I mean have some faith in us guys."

"I mean we have faith let's just hope none of us fuck up and we all die." Santiago said while leaning on his car.

"Santiago why are you so negative? " I asked.

"He's like that because nance didn't give him some pussy this morning? Devontae joked. Making us all breaking off into a laugh.

"I'm just pointing out what everyone is possibly thinking. And no i didn't. " Nance is Nancy, Santiago's girlfriend. They've been together since sophomore year of college and she joined our little crew. We all went into law while she was in the medical field. 

I understand why we have to be cautious cause I mean it's a very powerful gang. Let's just hope my acting skills are top tier.

"Just be careful." Devontae said before entering his car.

"Ight y'all I gotta go, a glass of wine is calling me so imma see y'all tomorrow." I said while the joined and said their goodbyes. We left early and Iyanna doesn't get home around 7:30 and it's 5:40 so imma have the house to myself for a few hours.

When I got home, I took a shower, changed into some sweats and a cropped Tee shirt, made food, grabbed some wine and binge watched some old episodes of Girlfriends that me and Iyanna previously watched.

Me and Iya usually watch shows together and I know she'd be mad that I watched a episode without her.

*Few hours later

The door opened and Iyanna came to the living room seeing me watching the show. "I know damn well you didn't just watch girlfriends without me."

"I did I'm sorry. On the bright side it's an episode we already watched."

"You a fake ass bitch you know that, but I guess you off the hook because we watched it already."

"I'm sorry." I said while laughing. "How was work?"

"Tell me why this bitch was trying to steal a case from me." Iya is in her intern years of being a lawyer. I don't know her plan because she's on her last year of her internship. It's been real hard on her, she's with one of the best law firms and they've been having cases and the more she does and succeed the higher chance they'll offer her a job.

"Did she?" Iyanna gave me the look and I already knew she still had her case. If I'm being honest, I would never think Iyanna would ever lose a case cause the way she loves to argue is ridiculous. She would never take a loss and let's say she did, she would do whatever she can to prove she was right. EVEN THOUGH she's wrong. She's too stubborn.

There were so many times that I had phone calls from her saying she was about to whoop someone's ass and I had to speed down to her location to stop her. Literally. And I wish I was joking.
