Evie and Bucky had been together for ten days straight now. She hated to admit it, but she was starting to really like the guy. Which was dangerous for her. Because she didn't want to get emotionally involved with anyone, not for what she had been planning on doing.

Bucky had taken her around Bucharest, showing her the many beautiful places that nobody else really knew about. He took was starting to feel something for this woman. He knew to begin with, she had been planning on leaving, as when he got up on the second morning, he saw her bag packed in the corner.

Clearly something had changed her mind.

He had managed to put it off about finding her, saying by the time he got to the hotel she had left. Giving Fury some spin that she was still in the city, but he was looking for her.

For the first three days, they didnt leave the hotel room.

The sex was amazing.

Neither could recall a better time of it.

That evening, they had been out to a romantic meal in the restaurant downstairs. Before heading back up to the suite. Evie smiled at him as they headed towards the sofa in the lounge.

"I am just going to freshen up, and slip into something, sexy" She purred, as she walked towards the door.

"Mmm. Sure you dont need my help slipping you out of the dress?" He called over.

Evie took hold of the bedroom door, shaking her head, before closing it, and going over to the bathroom.

She quickly slipped out of the black satin evening dress she was wearing, standing there in a corset, suspenders and stockings, leaving on her heels. She came out of the bathroom, walking over to open the bedroom door, but hearing Bucky was talking to someone.

Evie paused, and listened.

"What are you doing in Bucharest?" He hissed.

She couldnt hear who he was talking too, meaning it was someone on the phone.

"No, I told you. I would get in contact with you, as soon as I find her"

She was about to open the door.

"You're downstairs, right now?"

This instantly made her stop.

"You cant come up here. She will run. Just, let me do this"

Evies heart hammered against her chest. She knew instantly who was downstairs.

Nick Fury.

He had clearly got fed up listening to Buckys excuses, and had come to Romania to find out what was happening himself.

She quickly grabbed her clothes, slipping into the jeans and vest top, changing her heels for her boots, then pulled out the bag that was sitting on her chair that was already packed with everything she needed, if she needed to make a quick exit.

"Give me an hour" Bucky then said.

Evie quietly walked over to the balcony, opened the window, and stepped out onto it, checking below to make sure that there was no Shield agents sitting there, waiting. When she was satisfied that the coast was clear, she quickly climbed herself down the wall, landing softly on the sidewalk below, before turning and hurrying herself along the street and around the corner to where her bike was currently sat.

Once she was on it, and her backpack swung over her shoulder, she kicked started the bike, then drove back along the street, glancing up at the balcony as she went by, finding Bucky just stepping out on it, looking for her.

Bucky came off the phone, before taking a deep breath, opening the bedroom door to find out what Evie was doing, when he saw the balcony doors open, he knew right away that she had gone.

He glanced around the room, finding no note.

Nothing.

He rolled his eyes, because now he would have to go downstairs and explain all this to Fury.
