Evie and Bucky landed in Georgia, by the side of the lake. The cabin was in view, looking like it was empty, until there was movement at the side of it.
"Evie?" Someone called out.
She didn't know they were calling out to her, but watched him carefully, feeling his power of ice from where she was. Bucky glanced at her, waiting for instructions.
All she did to him, was nod. Feeling she couldn't take on this guy.
"Evie, how come your alive. What happened?" He stepped forward.
Bucky also stepped forward, coming in between them both, looking like he was about to tear this guys head off.
Bobby watched him stepping forward, he knew that look. He had read about the Winter Soldier and knew that this was one fight he didnt think he would win.
"Look man, I dont wanna fight. So, can you just calm down" Bobby called over to him.
But he didnt stop.
Bobby was going to run, knowing he had to let them all know that she was alive. But he knew he wouldnt be able to outrun the Winter Soldier, he knew he would have to get into the car, which was over the other side of the dirt path.
"Bucky, please, dont do this man. What has gotten into you?" He quickly asked.
Bucky raised the gun at Bobby, but he was quick, he ran to him, taking it from his hands, before throwing it over onto the porch, out of his reach. Bobby figured that he would have some chance, if the guy was fighting with his hands, instead of weapons.
Bobby took a deep breath, waiting.
And sure enough, he stepped over to him, throwing a punch.
Bobby was a little hesitant about hitting this guy back, watching as Evie was standing there, acting like this wasnt happening. Something was wrong. He could feel it. Something had happened, and it wasnt really her that was standing there.
Him and Bucky threw there fists, kicked, and pushed each other around. But with his metal arm, Bobby knew it wasnt going to be long before Bucky got the better of him, and killed him.
Bucky managed to get over the top of him, the arm pushing down over his throat, making Bobby struggle to breathe.
Evie walked over to them.
"Who are you?" She demanded.
He couldnt believe what she was asking, his eyes connecting with hers.
"Evie" He struggled to breathe.
She flicked her head back a little, an indication to Bucky to ease up but not to let him go.
And he did, a little.
Bobby inhaled deeply.
"Evie, I'm your brother. Its me. Bobby. We grew up here. This is where we used to play" He said, seeing she didn't remember anything.
"I dont..I dont have." She was about to say she didnt have a brother, but something was clicking to her, a memory about this guy.
Something she had remembered what felt like a long time ago.
Bobby saw his opportunity, he knew he had to get help. He rammed his feet under the Winter Soldier, and pushed as hard as he could, causing him to go flying backwards, towards the large oak tree that was there. He didnt wait to see if he slammed into it. Bobby got to his feet and he ran as fast as he could to the car, getting in it and driving at full speed away from the cabin.
Evie looked at the place he had been lying, still trying to find that memory, nothing was coming to her.
Bucky slammed into the tree, falling to the ground. It felt like the fog had lifted from his head. Looking around the place as she got to his knees. Finding he was no longer in North Dakota, that he was now in Georgia, and Evie was right there with him.
