Chapter eleven

They took the jet to the Avengers compound in New Jersey, Bobby went with them. Having explained his reasons for faking his own death and staying out of Walkers way. Telling them about his abilities, and where he had been staying. He was then debriefed by Fury, who was less than happy about what had happened. Even more when he found out that Evie was gone.

Sitting around in the lounge, nobody was saying anything, still trying to get their head around the loss of someone they had all grown fond of.

Wanda walked in, looking around at there sad faces. Her eyes landing on Bobby, reading his mind to find out what had happened. She saw that Evie was missing.

I"'m sorry, for your loss" She slowly said.

"She isn't dead, we just cant find her" Steve explained.

Wanda took a deep breath, trying not to look around at there faces.

I"'m sure, wherever she may be, she knows this was a sacrifice that had to be done, and that she knew anyone of you, would have done the same thing" Wanda said, trying not to let them know too much.

As Wanda had seen what was going to happen, and knew she had to help her out, or they would have lost her. She had managed to keep herself hidden to the side, and get Evie to safety. She knew the perfect place for her to be, so nobody could get to her powers.

Bucky couldnt stand to be there, at this memorial they were holding for Evie. Acting like they knew her, like she was one of them. When all this time, she had hidden her abilities from them, and himself. They were all acting like she had died.

He wasnt angry that she had hidden her powers from them.

He understood.

But he felt like they were sharing his grief, when in fact, they didnt know how he felt about her. She was the one. She was going to be with him, forever.

He knew it.

And now it was taken away from him.

He felt lost.
