With a gasp, I opened my eyes. My head and my leg hurt.. my throat too. The first person I saw was Lo'ak. He smiled, hugged me tightly.
"Oh eywa.. Lo'ak." I groaned and hugged him back as much as I could at least. A moment later he jumped up.
"Dad! I have to get dad!" He said in excitment, though it sounded like he was screaming.
"Calm down.. I just woke up.. my head is killing me.." I whispered and sat up carefully. Lo'ak had left already. I looked around, I was in a Marui, that were the houses where the Metkayians lived in. On the ground were Jake's and Neytiri's stuff. Like his guns and her arrow and bow.
"Naili!" I heard, the next moment three teenagers were basically attacking me with hugs and kisses. Neteyam was the first who let go. Then Kiri, Tuk took her time.
"You're awake! We've missed you so much!" Kiri said and smiled. I smiled back and laid my hand on her cheek for a short moment. My other hand, I had on Tuk's head.
Neytiri and Jake walked in. I looked up at them. Neytiri smiled happily while Jake kept away a little.
"Quaritch-" I suddenly remembered. Jake listened up, Neteyam also turned to his father and Kiri called Tuk off. They left the Marui.
"What happened?" Neytiri asked me. I sighed, holding my head, the headache didn't leave.
"I'll get you something to eat. And Tonowari and Ronal!" Neteyam called, stood up and headed outside. Neytiri sat down, laid her hand on my knee, then she hugged me. I hugged her back.
It has been months since I saw her the last time. The kids too, they've grown. And it's only been a few months.
"Naili, what happened?" Jake asked then, I looked at him and wanted to answer but Neytiri came before.
"MaJake, she just woke up after being unconscious for three days." Neytiri warned. My heart skipped a beat.
"Three days?!" I asked shocked, they both looked at me and nodded. Without thinking, I jumped up but broke down right away.
"Naili!" Neytiri gasped, and took my hand. I sighed.
"I forgot.." I mumbled and squeezed her hand. Then Neteyam came back, with him a Metkayian woman and man. I guessed that they were Tsahīk and Olo'eyktan. I greeted them, they did it back.
Then Ronal, the woman, sat down and looked at my leg, turning it aside harshly while Tonowari started speaking.
"My daughter, Yana, had found you at the beach. And my Mate, Ronal, she stitched your leg." He started, I nodded.
"Thank you." I said and also looked at Ronal. She nodded back and turned back to my leg.
"We have to change the stitches." She claimed, stood up and left. I sighed and focused back on Tonowari, who has crouched down next to Jake.
"Was the reason your leg was cut open the same reason why a village got burnt down?" Tonowari asked me.
"Not exactly, no. I was shot and took out the bullet." I started to explain, Neytiri hisses slightly and turned away. I looked at her and smiled softly.
"The village was burnt down because Quaritch was looking for Jake.. and I freed myself and ran. He's after you, Jake. He's close.. and he's prepared." I said and looked down. Neytiri hissed again while Jake tried to calm her down.
"They have a Na'vi speaking child with them and a girl who spoke sign Na'vi. How come that?" Tonowari asked then.
"Spider, yes. He is ours, he grew up here on Pandora. And Calliope.. she studies Na'vi. She's a scientist and knows everything about us. But she's good!" I claimed quickly as I saw how Tonowari looked at Jake. Blaming him.
