Snuff

I woke up to a noise coming from the right side of me

I turned over to my right, soon turning off my alarm

I was soon greeted by a bean of light coming thru my big window

After a good 5 minutes of laying on my bed, I soon got up to my closet to choose my outfit for the day

What I decided to wear today was a long black dress with short puffy sleeves, tights, and black boots, also with a black leather jacket

When I was done with my outfit, I walked over to my bathroom, I grabbed a hairbrush and makeup bag

For my hair, I curled some front pieces sticking out, and more the back I decided to put it into a low bun

And for my makeup, I added some black eyeshadow and red lipstick

Soon I got finished brushing my teeth and walked out to my room grabbing my backpack and phone

I headed downstairs to see my dad standing there with his phone in his hand

C: " Ready?"

I nodded before we both left out the door

The whole drive to my school was quiet until he dropped me off

C: " I'll pick you up later so we'll be in time for the funnel"

"Ok," I said before closing the door and heading toward the school's gate

As soon as I entered the halls, all eye's were on me and all you could hear was whispering from person to person

When I was walking toward my class, some random kid popped up in front of me which made me jump a bit

" Hey is it true that Norman died" before I could even say anything I just walked away from him, giving him a disgusted look

" AM GUESSING THAT'S A YES" he yelled so hard, I think he damaged the ears of the nearby people, hell maybe even mines, I don't even think he goes here, I've never seen him, he probably just came here to see if it was true

...

The phone ranged on my 4th period, announcing I was going home

When I got to the front office I saw my dad standing there with a fancy suit on

As I was about to head out of the office, one of the ladies said
" Sorry, for your loss"
I smiled at her before closing the door behind me

...

After about 20 minutes on a long quiet drive, we got to the place

It was so beautiful, with dead trees and red roses surrounding the area

We were soon greeted by family members of Norman

After a good 10 minutes of chatting, it was time to put his coffin in

But before they put him in the grave, they allowed us to see him for the last time

After everyone took their turn, it was my turn

I couldn't stop myself from tearing up, but before I left, I took off the necklace I was supposed to give him and wrapped it around his neck

...

We all went to sit down, as the priest was talking

P: " Today we are here, in the memorial of Norman Thrityacre, from what I knew from him, he was a loving man, boyfriend, and son, know we are going to have some of his loved ones come up front"

...

After everyone was done speaking, it was my turn, I stood up and went to the front,

T: " I was his girlfriend, and am proud to say that, from what I knew from Norman, he was the b man I've ever met, whenever I was at my lowest, he was always there for me, he truly did save me, I could say he was my hero" At that point my whole face was covered in tears

P: " All lovely words were said today, now if you may follow me to the  burial"

We walked outside, seeing a huge dead tree with red petals where the hole was

After a while, people in nice suits came outside carrying Norman's coffin

Which was white with black petals and dark red petals on it

I was hugging my dad like a little girl who is watching a scary movie, as they were putting his coffin in the ground

Everyone started tearing up at this point even my dad

When they have successfully putted his coffin into the ground, everyone started throwing roses in

...

After a bit, the funnel was over

I and my dad got into the car, as before the whole drive to the house was quite

When we got to the house, he gave me a huge hug

C: " Look hunny, I know he's gone but he is still in your heart, and will always be"

T: " I know, I know he is"

As he opened the door I quickly went to my room, not noticing the person on the couch

I slammed myself onto my bed, with a huge sigh

Soon after thinking a bit, I took a joint and grabbed a mini fridge that was under my bed with beers

I grabbed a lighter and unwrapped the joint

I soon started smoking the joint while I was sitting on the frame of my window with the joint in one hand and the beer in the other hand

...

After a good hour, I finished 2 joints and 5 beers

At this point, I was so baked and drunk

I collapsed onto my bed that was below my window

Soon I fell into a deep sleep thinking about Norman

So I know I haven't updated this story in so long, but I lost motivation for this story for a while
