Corey's Pov

I woke up at 7:15 a.m waiting for Rae to finish getting ready for school

I was casually sitting on the couch just scrolling through social media, looking up at the time I realized it was already 7:30 and I automatically knew something wasn't right

By this time she would've been down here already, I jogged up the stairs heading towards Tarrae's room I softly knocked on her door
No response
"Am coming in" I said turning the doorknob

I looked over to her bed thinking she slept in but she wasn't there, soon I walked to her bathroom hoping she'll be there but she wasn't

I soon called sid thinking she may be with him

S: " Hey Corey what's up?"

C: "  Hey Sid am wondering if
Tarrae is with you right now"

S: " No, wait is she not with
you right now".

C: " No"

S: " She probably went walking
you know how sometimes she does that."

C: " Your right but she would've
have called me or texted me she was walking to school,  but anyways I'll call you later."

S: " Ok bye "

I started worrying about Rae, so I called her, I was relieved when she answered but I heard a different voice on the other line.

(Random women =Rw)

Rw: "Um hello is this Tarrae Taylor's father?"

C: " Um yes but what are you
doing with my daughter's phone"

Rw: " Oh yeah am sorry for
not saying what happened, so I found your daughter at the Kilbourne Bridge ( I searched up a random bridge) and I took her to the Loring Hospital, the workers here are asking you to come as soon as possible"

C: " I um ok I'll be there soon "
I said hanging up too soon call Sid and tell him what happened

S: " Hey Corey did you
find Tarrae" he said with a worried tone

C: " Uuuh yeah about that a lady called me saying she found Tarrae at a bridge and took her to the Loring Hospital, do you mind going, Yeah?, ok I'll see you there"

As I rushed to my car, my head was just full of thoughts about why she was there, run away, SUICIDE ATTEMPT?!?

I wasn't trying to get those types of thoughts

As soon as I got to the hospital I saw Sid waiting for me outside.

Soon we were inside going to the front lady

( front lady= fl)

Fl: " Hello sir, what may I
help you with today"

C: " Is there a patient here with the
following name of Tarrae Taylor"

Fl: " Ok just give me a second sir, Ah yes she is in room B-6, would you like to visit her"

C: " Yes, please"

Fl: " Ok what's your relationship
to her, father, ok sir a staff member will come shortly to escort you to the room"

"Ok thank you," I said before walking over to where the chairs were

" She'll be fine Corey don't worry," Sid said

" Yeah but why was she at a bridge across town," I said

"She probably needed some time by herself cause you know, last night," Sid replied

" Yeah, you'r- I was cut off by a tanned woman in front of me

Rw: " Hello sir are you um Corey Taylor"
