Chapter 22: A Miracle and a Blessing

"How are you feeling?" Taehyung softly asks his boyfriend as they cuddle in bed together.

"I am feeling really well." Jungkook smiles and tightens his embrace around his boyfriend.

"What do you want to do today?" Taehyung asks as he gently pats his boyfriend's back.

"I want to watch you paint." Jungkook quietly responds and gently kisses Taehyung's slender fingers.

"What should I paint?" Taehyung smiles as his boyfriend's warm lips press against his hand.

"The sea. We can sit on the beach while you paint." Jungkook suggests and snuggles his face against Taehyung's abdomen.

"That sounds like a beautiful day." Taehyung softly hums as he watches his boyfriend snuggle closer.

"I think Jin went early morning fishing." Jungkook chuckles when he hears Jin enter the house while happily humming.

"He loves it here." Taehyung smiles as he looks into Jungkook's sparkling eyes.

"You can all come and vacation here as much as you want to while I am in Australia. This is a safe place for you and your family." 

"You are the biggest blessing that has ever happened to me." Tears form in Taehyung's eyes as he gently cups his boyfriend's hollow cheeks.

"You are a miracle for me." Jungkook softly smiles and snuggles his face in Taehyung's warm hands.

"I love you so much." Taehyung whispers and caresses his precious boyfriend's face with his thumb.

"I love you, too." Jungkook smiles with his eyes closed as Taehyung's soft caress fills him with warmth.

As Jungkook relaxes in a warm bath, Taehyung finds everything that he needs to paint the sea.

"Are you two going out today?" Jin asks as his brother gathers everything that he needs.

"We are just going to the beach right outside of the house. I am going to paint, and Jungkook is going to watch." Taehyung answers with a bright smile.

"I'll get some sun as well." Jin happily chirps and runs off to grab the things he needs.

Taehyung softly laughs as he watches Jin run around the house. This is the first time he has seen his older brother this relaxed and happy. While in Seoul, Jin has many worries weighing on his shoulders, but at the shore, all that he worries about is how many fish he is able to catch and how to fend off seagulls from stealing his catch.

"Hyung, is it okay if Jin hyung joins us?" Taehyung asks when he walks into the bathroom to help Jungkook get ready for the day.

"Of course." Jungkook smiles as his boyfriend lifts him out of the water.

By the time that Taehyung and Jungkook walk out to the shore, Jin already has everything set up and is watching the gentle waves kiss the sand.

"It is a lovely day." Jin happily sighs as Jungkook sits down on the blanket next to him.

"It really is." Jungkook smiles and closes his eyes as the sun gently kisses his face.

"The ocean is beyond beautiful today." Taehyung hums as he organizes his paints and finds the colors that he will need.

The three sitting on the shore stay quiet and enjoy the beauty of nature that is peacefully surrounding them. As Taehyung paints, Jungkook lovingly watches him and memorizes how Taehyung looks in this moment. He loves how a soft smile makes Taehyung's face glow while he paints. He loves how peaceful Taehyung looks as he concentrates on his painting and their surroundings.
