Chapter 26: I Will Do It

For the next three days, the detectives work together to come up with a plan. When they figure out a plan, Hoseok worries about Taehyung. He knows that it is the best way, but he is afraid that Taehyung will get hurt.

"Hyung, you can tell me. I will do whatever it takes." Taehyung tells Hoseok who gently holds his hand.

"You can say no then we will come up with another plan." Hoseok reminds Taehyung before telling him the plan. "So, we were thinking that you could go undercover. Your family wants you back, so what if you went back to them to spy on them?" Hoseok cautiously tells Taehyung.

"Hobi!" Jin gasps in horror when he hears the plan.

"I can do it. I will do whatever I have to do." Taehyung responds then softly smiles at Jin who is worried for him.

"It's dangerous." Jin mutters as he looks at his youngest brother with worry.

"Tell me everything that I need to do." Taehyung tells Hoseok as he holds Jin's hand.

"Okay, when they call you again, answer the phone and shout at them. Have a break down then give in. It has to be convincing." Hoseok tells him and hands him his phone that they bugged, so the detectives can hear the conversation.

"It won't be difficult to have a breakdown." Taehyung mumbles and looks at his phone.

When his phone suddenly rings, the detectives quietly surround Taehyung.

"What do you want from me?!" Taehyung screams into the phone when he answers it.

"So, you finally decided to answer." The voice of his father sends chills down Taehyung's spine and makes his stomach churn.

"How did you find me?" Taehyung whimpers as he nervously grips his phone.

"It was difficult to find you. You hid well. But, we found you eventually. You can never fully escape." His father's voice becomes icy.

"What do you want from me?" Taehyung cries, so Jin quickly pulls him into his arms.

"Come home." Taehyung chokes on a sob when he hears his father's threatening voice. "If you don't, your beloved family of orphans will disappear."

"No! Please! Don't hurt them!" Taehyung sobs as he grits his teeth.

"Then come home willingly. You know where to go since you escaped your cage." His father coldly chuckles.

"Do you promise that you won't hurt them if I obey?" Taehyung sniffles and looks at Hoseok and Jin.

"I promise, and you know that I keep my promises." His father hums in satisfaction.

"Please, keep your promise." Taehyung cries as Jin gently rocks him.

"I will keep it as long as you are here by eight in the morning." His father mumbles then hangs up.

"It is okay. I am here." Jin whispers as he holds Taehyung in his arms.

"It will be okay." Taehyung mutters as he dries his tears. "Promise me that I will be able to leave their claws once I walk into their claws." Taehyung looks at the detectives surrounding him.

"We promise. You will leave their claws." Detective Yoo promises Taehyung.

"Okay. Let's put an end to my parents' terror." Taehyung takes a deep breath to compose himself. "First, I need to call Jungkook."

When Jungkook sees that Taehyung is calling him, he quickly answers his phone.

"Hey, Flower." Jungkook smiles and waves when he sees his boyfriend's face. "Were you crying?"
