It's been five months since I've last seen Adeline, and I still fucking love her like hell, the harder I try to hate her I always remember us the way we used to be.

The way I missed everything was

I sat in the living room taking a sip of soda in the soda can, Reuben is now the mob leader and I'm still me, I really don't care about the mob, either way, I just care for her.

I've tried everything to look for her, look her up, hack into her old phone nothing, I tried searching up the no caller ID nothing. I've given up on both those ideas since I tried millions of tactics and both have got me nowhere.

Now I've been trying to go through Reubens's laptop and phone, I just need his fucking number to hack into his contacts, but when He's not fucking looking it's either Damian or Tony walking in on me. fuck them.

I gazed up at the ceiling while digging my nails into the metal can, When I overhear loud footsteps approaching me, great what now

"What" my voice came out as annoyed, "I need to talk to you" I quickly looked up to see Reuben hovering over me, "Is she okay?!" I sat up now crashing the cab into a fist

"That's the thing" "What do you mean that's the thing what the hell happened" I started panicking and didn't realize I was shouting

"Nico she's fine!" He snapped, I exhale with relief and sat back down, "Okay that's- that's good" I mumble

Reuben sat across from me and leaned against the couch frame before speaking, "These past couple of months you showed me how much you love my daughter" where is this going?

My heartbeat raised up to a hundred, "When I first fell in love with Victoria I went insane, I made sure she was mentally and physically okay," Sounds familiar, very similar to what I'm going through

"At first I doubted you"
"That means a lot to me thanks" I roll my eyes
"And I can't help but feel bad, I can't imagine myself without Victoria I can't imagine what your going through"

That's the nicest thing I've probably heard come out of his mouth, But still didn't give a shit about what he said I just patiently waited for him. to tell me something about her, "I just-"

"Tell me fuck!" I slam my fist against the couches resting arm, He let out a laugh and leaned closer toward me,

"Listen, Nico, I care about my daughter, I'll do anything to see her happy" he snarled

I glare him in the eyes waiting for him to spit it out, "Addie she's...." For fucks sake I'm probably dead by now

"She's what?" my brows lit up, "She's moved on"

"Do you know when you're giving birth yet?" Nessa asked, I shake my head after someone else walks up to me, "Look how cute this is" I knew half of these people, Paris threw me a huge Gender Reveal party, turned out it was a girl

A beautiful little girl with emerald green eyes dimples and beautiful tan skin just like her father.

I shove those thoughts out the window when I see Archer walking up to me, Everyone instantly walked away when he beams and places a kiss on my cheek "You okay?" "A little overwhelmed" I sighed "Everyone's leaving already and Paris is just gathering your gifts" I peek to see Paris having a handful of baby toys and clothes

I giggle and glance back at Archer admiring me, "So um has your baby daddy called or anything" I gulp shit he remembers

"Uh no"
"That piece of shit" He rolled his eyes and let out a breath "Hey it's fine I- I can take care of myself and my little girl"

He smiles and cups my face, "I love you" He said, I break contact and glance back at Paris "It's okay," he soothed my cheeks

I nod feeling thing but shame.

I got home and took my heels off, Paris and Archer holding my gifts from the party, "Gosh maybe I shouldn't have invited my needy family" Paris panted as she placed each gift on my bed

I let out a laugh while I placed my purse down, "So any name ideas!" She sat on the couch in front of my bed

While Archer lay in bed putting on the tv, "Yeah a few-" "SPILL!" she yelped before I could finish my sentence.

"Well, I think Agatha, Verena, or..." I took a deep breath before answering, and they both sat up as I exhaled deeply "You okay?" they both said at once Archer sitting up and Paris now standing.

"I'm fine just this name gets me pretty emotional" I chuckle, "Oh what does it mean?" they asked at once "The name I want my daughter to be named is my ex" they both sneak glances at each other before glancing back at me

"I thought you hated him" Paris thinned her lips
"I did at first, But he is still my baby daddy" I sat down on the chair beside my closet rubbing my palms against my thighs

"I think that's great" Archer shrugs, I beam and smile at him "So what's the name?" They questioned

"Angelina, Angelina Verena Martines- Amato," I said at once, "That's beautiful Adeline" Paris grins, "Yes it is"
