I slam Zell's door open while Nico rushed to lay her down, she blacked out and had to end the night quicker than we expected, "I'll take it from her" I sighed as Nico basically threw her

I smile and take off Zella's heels wrapping her blanket over her, "I'm here-" "HUSH" I cut Ero off, "Sorry" he mouths while walking up to her bed. I roll my eyes and watched as he took off his coat and shoes

He lays beside Zell and she instantly wrapped her arms around his waist, I beam as they cuddled together, even tho their bitches for betraying me they deserve happiness, especially after everything Zella is going through

I walk out of their room and shut the door behind me

It's been three weeks of my parents not being around, I've been going on missions, meetings, and galas through the week, I've called to make sure their okay and they are thankfully

It feels empty without them around, and I try my best not to worry too much I don't want to disturb them during their on vacation

Once he was done he walked up to me and cupped my face, "I'll be back okay" Pecks my lips and stares into my eyes

I nod and smile, "I love you" He beams, and I beam back "I love you," I say going on my tip toes while wearing heels to place a soft gentle kiss on his forehead

Papa and I have started hanging out a lot more than usal, it's weird to me but he seems to enjoy it, sometimes we'll have conversations about the mob, 'women' and catching up on life

But today in particular I came to visit unannounced, which he was surprised by but he let me in handed me a glass of whiskey, and sat across from me in his living room

I rolled my eyes as he let out a relieved sigh, "Okay so what's wrong?" "Papa I'm in love with Adeline, and I want abuelita's ring" I utter shutting my eyes

I open them back up to see tears and a big smile on his face, "Papa?" I questioned arching a brow, Fuck...

I then chug the whiskey down my throat but he suddenly stood up making me stand up at once with him and then...

My father hugged me, and I hugged him back "I'm so proud of you Nico" a sudden sting started dripping from my eyes "thank you papa" my father has never said he's been proud of me before

I hope he knows how much that means to me
