4 - reunion

Whoever is inside the tents starts opening them. Ina, Kiara and Calli come out. They see me.

Ina: Ame?!

Kiara: How?!

Calli looks speechless.

Amelia: Hey.

They run and hug me. I'm not their Amelia, but I hug back anyway.

Kiara: How are you alive?!

Amelia: Long story. You're going to have to sit down for this.

They sit down in the chairs and face me.

Amelia: I'm very sorry. I'm not your Amelia. I'm sure your Amelia had a time traveling pocket watch too. I'm not from this timeline.

I can tell that hit them hard.

Amelia: I'm very sorry for your loss.

Calli: What would make you want to come to this timeline? This timeline is hell.

Amelia: I didn't come here willingly.

I take the broken pocket watch out of my pocket.

Amelia: This is my time watch. I fell down the stairs, landed on it and broke it. It took me here, and now it won't work. I woke up in some school and almost died.

Ina: That place is infested with zombies.

Amelia: I noticed. I know this might be hard, but I need to use the Amelia of this timeline's pocket watch to get home. I've come to the conclusion that mine is unfixable.

Calli: Amelia broke her time watch into four pieces and hid them to prevent it from getting into the wrong hands.

Amelia: I see. I'll need to get them then.

Calli: I'm sorry but why would we let you? We don't know your intentions, we don't know if you're a good person, for all we know you could shoot all of us as soon as we turn our backs. We don't know if you're a threat to us. The last person we let stay with us tried to kill us.

Gura: I trust her. She saved my life. I was cornerd by zombies and she shot them. She could've just let me die but she didn't.

Calli: Alright then I guess I trust you.

Amelia: If you don't mind me asking, what happened here? How did all of this happen?

Ina: It was a goddess. She appeared out of no where and turned people into zombies. Soon whole countries were overrun, governments fell, and within a month, at least a billion people were zombies.

Amelia: What did Mumei do? I mean she is the guardian of civilization, well at least in my timeline.

Ina: She's the Guardian of civilization in this timeline too, or was. We don't know if she's alive and if she is, we don't know where she is. The last we saw Mumei, she was trying to take down that goddess. She failed. We haven't seen council since, but we can assume that if they're alive, they don't have their powers. We don't either. The goddess took the powers away from everyone that had powers. Meaning we're basically just regular humans now.
