Amelia's pov
I found the third watch piece. Just one more to go. It was buried under a tree. It took a while to get it out. I check the map. Now where's the fourth piece? It's in... Bubble city?! Or I guess it's called carnage now. That's where the goddess lives.
Amelia: The fourth piece is in Carnage.
Irys: That's a problem.
Amelia: Alright, we need to think of a plan. Any ideas?
Monzetsu: I have one! Why not let the fourth piece come to you?
Amelia: Huh?
A voice I don't recognize. I turn around and standing there is a girl I've never seen before. I immediately put my guard up. There's something about her that feels off, I get the feeling she's dangerous and has bad intentions. I look at Irys. She looks pissed off.
Irys: You!
With a hostile tone
Monzetsu: Oh my dear hope, how have you been?
Irys: Don't call me dear ever again!
Amelia: Is this the goddess?
Irys: Yes!
Monzetsu: The name is Monzetsu. I realized earlier that I never told any of you my name.
Irys: Where's council! Are they alive?!
Monzetsu: You'll have to find that out yourself dear hope.
Irys: I told you not to call me that!
Irys takes a step forward. Monzetsu raises her hand towards her. Irys stops. She doesn't move an inch. She struggles.
Irys: Let me go!
Amelia: What's happening?
Irys: I can't move! She has a power that allows her to freeze people in place!
That's troubling.
Amelia: What do you want?
Monzetsu: I see you're collecting all the pieces of the time watch.
Amelia: What are you talking about?
Monzetsu: There's no use trying to hide it.
She holds out her hand. In her palm, is the fourth piece of the watch. I turn pale. Why does she have it?! What is she going to do with it?! I can only imagine what she'll do if she completes it, but does she know how to put the pieces together? I sure hope not.
Amelia: Okay, so you know. What of it? How do you know about the time watch anyway?
Monzetsu: You sound nervous. I have my sources. I could just take the other pieces from you right now but where's the fun in that?
She smiles
Monzetsu: You've caught my attention, miss Watson. You see, the Amelia Watson of this timeline died. I watched it happen, so you must be from a different timeline. How fascinating! Why would you come here of all places? Trying to be a hero are we? Well this is no fairytale. If you want the final watch piece you're gonna have to take it from me, and the only way you'll be able to do that is if you kill me. Good luck with that. I was gonna just kill everyone in this timeline next week and move onto the next because of how boring it's gotten around here. I've done pretty much everything there is to do, but lucky for you, I'm intrigued by you. Don't disappoint me. I'll be waiting for you in Carnage.
