General Muchi: Alright, I gave you a chance to leave peacefully but it seems to remove you from this village, we're going to have to take drastic measures.
He looks at his soldiers.
General Muchi: These people aren't obeying orders. As much as I don't want to do this, they're giving us no choice. Kill some of the villagers to make room.
Mai: Wait what?!
Amelia: You don't have to do that! We'll leave!
General Muchi: I don't have the patience to deal with you. You should've left when I said so the first time.
The soldiers enter the village, but it's silent. There's no screaming or gunshots, just quiet.
General Muchi: What's the hold up?!
He goes to the gate. He suddenly has a shocked look on his face.
Amelia: Huh?
We go see what he's looking at. We too are in shock of what we're seeing. There's blood and bodies everywhere. All the soldiers General Muchi just sent into the village and the villagers themselves lay lifeless on the ground. I walk over to one of them and check the body. They don't have gunshot wounds. These are cuts and stab wounds.
Mai: What happened?!
Mai sounds like she's about to have a breakdown.
I see movement from the corner of my eye. I look. It's Itami. She's holding her sword. Blood is dripping from it.
Itami: Hello again Amelia.
Amelia: You did this?!
Itami: Obviously.
Gura looks at General Muchi
Gura: What are you doing?! Shoot her! She killed your guys too!
General Muchi: Looks like your problem to me.
General Muchi walks away.
Gura: Coward!
Mai: I'm gonna kill you!
Mai pulls out her gun and shoots at Itami. She blocks the bullet with her katana.
Itami: What a weak weapon. It didn't even put a scratch on mine. That's disappointing.
Kiara: Girls, let me handle this. I'll keep her occupied, you go around and check the villagers, maybe some of them are still alive and need medical attention.
Calli: Sounds like a plan to me.
Mai falls to her knees. Too overwhelmed by shock, anger and sadness, she can't bring herself back to her feet. Calli, Gura, Ina, Irys and Ollie go to check the villagers. I stay with Mai just in case.
Itami: Oh? Who were you again? Oh that's right, Kiara! The Phoenix, though without your powers, you really think you can beat me?
Kiara: I might have lost my powers but I'm still a warrior!
Kiara pulls out her shield and Phoenix sword.
