Amelia: Her original timeline?
Kyu: That's right. She's traveling between timelines using a time watch. After an Amelia Watson dies, she takes her watch. Unless the watch is broken up into four pieces like this timeline's is. Smart move by this timeline's Amelia Watson, but apparently when she gets to another timeline, she breaks the watch she already has to hunt down another one. Apparently it's a game to her, just like everything else.
Amelia: So she can't travel between timelines by herself?
Kyu: No.
Amelia: Good to know.
Gura: Why is she like this?
Kyu: Our timeline was a hard one to live in. Poverty, inequality, greed, corruption, and selfishness. If you were to ask me how I'd describe my timeline, that's how I'd describe it. I grew up with her. We were childhood friends. We were barely getting by day by day but she had it a lot worse then me. See, her parents were one of the few that tried changing the system, trying to bring an end to the corrupted government we lived under, but in the end, they failed and both of them were executed. Yet, that wasn't enough for that government. They wanted to see their child suffer too. Instead of killing her, they made up stories about her Monzetsu was a devil in disguise. Not only that but they treated her horribly too. Normally they at least gave everyone one meal a day and some water but they denied her that too. She was beaten and tormented every day for no good reason. That was her life, and she lived that way for years.
We all listen.
Kyu: One day, she discovered the existence of the council. Space, civilization, time, nature, chaos and hope. The all powerful goddesses of our world. Discovering them, she looked for them, trying to find them to help her. Trying to find a way to end all the suffering and corruption that so many people were living under. Eventually, through years of searching, she finally found them. All those years of torment and effort looking for them was finally gonna pay off, or so she thought. When she confronted them, they refused to help her. In that timeline, the council didn't interfere with humans, not even the Guardian of civilization would do it. All she did was prevent the human race from going extinct. She was enraged by the council's refusal to help. She didn't walk away empty handed though. When leaving the council's hideout, a book caught her eye. She snuck it, and left with it. When she got home she read it and discovered a way to steal the council's powers.
Irys: So that's how she learned to do that?
Kyu: Yes. There are three ways to steal a goddess's powers. One, you can fight them, and if you weaken them enough, you can take their power from them, they won't have enough strength to hold onto it. Two, you can surprise them. Usually they won't be actively holding onto their power if they're not expecting anyone to take it from them. Lastly, three, they allow you to take their power. She used the second tactic to steal their powers in my timeline and once she had done so, she killed five of them, all but the warden of time Ouro Kronii. With the other five's powers though, she stood no chance. Knowing this, Kronii went to me for help. She knew that there was no saving our timeline and that she wasn't gonna stop with ours. So she gave me a weapon. An ancient weapon humans used to fight goddesses that's been locked away for thousands of years.
She holds out a sword. You can tell it's really old but at the same time, it's well maintained.
Kyu: It's made of a metal that can cut goddesses the same way a regular sword can cut a human. After she gave me the sword, she also gave me my own time watch and a tracker that I can use to track Monzetsu through timelines. After that, Monzetsu killed the warden of time and took her power too. Remembering everything that was done to her, all the torment she suffered, all the beat downs she had to go through, and with the power going to her head, she snapped. She killed everyone on the planet within a week. She hunted them like some sort of game, and she found amusement out of it. She developed joy in watching people suffer and die. After she was done with our timeline, she erased everything from existence, except for me. I got out of there before she erased everything. Now my timeline is nothing more then an empty void of nothing. No earth, no planets, no stars, no black holes, not even light. Just pitch black nothing. There's also this.
