We rush to the sound of the shattered window. It came from the kitchen. There's a zombie there, but it's completely white. I guess it really does blend in with the snow. Shiro grabs a knife and kills it.
Shiro: Wake everyone up and meet me in the living room, hurry.
Amelia: Okay.
I rush to the guest bedroom and wake up Irys and Gura. I tell them to go to the living room, I then rush into the bedroom and wake up Itsuki. I tell her to meet in the living room. We make our way there and laying on the couch are weapons. There's pistols, shotguns, knives, bats, and a grenade? I don't know how useful that is going to be indoors but I grab it anyway.
Irys: That's a lot of weapons, what's going on?
Shiro: You remember the zombies that camouflage in the snow that I talked about earlier?
Irys: Yeah.
Shiro: One just broke into the cabin, I killed it but they never travel alone, chances are there's gonna be a lot more coming.
We all grab some weapons. As we're loading our guns, the power goes out.
Shiro: Damn, the blizzard knocked out the power.
Irys: How do you still have power anyway?
Shiro: It's too complicated to explain right now.
He turns on a flashlight. Suddenly the door busts down. Snow zombies come rushing through. We all start shooting at them. Soon the zombies start breaking every window in the house and start flooding in.
Itsuki: This way!
She runs into their bedroom, we all follow. The zombies chasing us. We slam the door shut and Itsuki hands us all flashlights. We then push furniture in front of the door. The zombies aggressively bang on the door trying to get through. Our barricade is holding for now but not for long. I look at the windows. The windows in this room aren't broken yet but who knows how long that will last.
Gura: What do we do?!
Itsuki: We've been here for 2 years, why are they only attacking us now?!
Amelia: The windows are our only escape. I'm sorry you two, but you're going to have to leave this cabin behind.
Shiro: We don't have any other choice huh.
Amelia: Unfortunately no.
Suddenly a zombie leaps through one of the windows, shattering it and pinning Shiro to the floor. Before any of us can react, it bites his neck.
Itsuki: No!!!
She shoots it in the head. She rushes over to him.
Itsuki: Shiro!
She sounds devastated. I look at Gura and Irys. They're looking away. It looks like they can't stand the sight. As much as we want to mourn, this is no time for that.
Amelia: Irys, Gura. There's two windows in here, one broken, one still intact. Each of you aim your guns at one window. Another could jump through at any moment. Keep your eyes on your window and your finger on the trigger.
