Dahyun's brows met at the sight of the notifications.
It was the end of their joint concert night in Korea. They were finally sitting back down and relaxing on the couches inside their waiting room after 4 long hours of back-to-back performances. It was expected to be jampacked, and it was.
With the two groups considered as Korea's representative K-Pop groups, the tickets almost immediately sold out while the rest of the fans were only left to subscribe to the live broadcasting. However, many of them suspected that they were awkward around each other despite their previous interactions. They were both big names in the industry after all with BTS being leagues away from the entire K-Pop industry. But they weren't.
All of them snapped photos and videos of and with each other. Some even had them posted on their personal Instagram accounts. Meanwhile, the others talked about the experience of working with each other on Bubble and Weverse, thus, squashing whatever rumors and doubts netizens had. Some would always stubbornly reject the idea by saying that they were only being professional though, but Dahyun wished to say otherwise.
Nayeon and Jin were criticizing each other's photos, assumedly for social media posting. Jeongyeon and Namjoon were showing off their Pokémon Bread stickers collection. Momo was quietly handing out snacks to everyone; she would whine about taking too many photos of Nayeon though when she heard Jin say that one of them had a terrible angle. Hoseok, on the other hand, gladly accepted whatever Momo gave before turning back to Jihyo to compliment her energy onstage. Sana and Tzuyu were busy gossiping with the former occasionally clinging onto Tzuyu's arm. Yoongi and Chaeyoung were talking about composing and producing songs, and seldomly shared photos of their poodles. Jimin was playfully massaging Taehyung's back. And Mina was quietly playing games on her phone.
That leaves Dahyun and Jungkook.
Looking up from her phone, she saw that Jungkook was already staring at her expectantly.
"Answer it," he mouthed and gestured to the phone using his lips.
"Why?" She mouthed back with a cocky grin. She was already on her Instagram page with his request pulled up to her screen.
They didn't follow each other. None of them did. Knowing how their fans reacted to Taehyung following Jennie, they just didn't want to risk it. The boys were under lock and key.
"What..." Jungkook mumbled. It was probably picked up by his phone's mic. "Dahyun, accept my request please." A few heads turned.
Dahyun only passed them glances with her lips kept mum. She was trying her hardest to be serious the second the room grew quiet, but she instantly broke into a cheeky smile.
