The best thing about dreams is that fleeting moment, when you are between asleep and awake, when you don't know the difference between reality and fantasy, when for just that one moment you feel with your entire soul that the dream is reality, and it really happened." —James Arthur Baldwin

Damon leans over a wall, Annie was playing outside on the porch. The gate was close so there  nothing to worry.

Isabella's brown long hair was braided making a circle around her head.  A smile covered her lips. Feeling eyes on her, she turned my way with a gentle playful expression.

"Don't just stay there, help me." She whined with a pout.

Damon's face lightened up, he was caught. He walked towards her and hugged her from behind plastering a kiss on her neck.

A shiver ran over her skin, encouraging him to give her another kiss. She turned in his arms and pulled him closer deepening the kiss. Damon's hands lingered over her hair, undoing the knot holding her hair in place. Her hair was far too beautiful to be tightened.

Isabella pushed him away with a frown.
"Why did you had to do that, you know how hard it is to keep it like that."

Damon smiled back.
"We are almost done anyway with the move out. You don't need to hide it anymore."
He lifted his hand, untangling her hair and letting it fall over her shoulders.
"I just love your hair."

"Well since you insist, it comes down to you then."
She pointed the cover that drifted to the ground.

Damon recovered it and lifted it making it fly above the dresser.

"I still can't believe it. Tomorrow, we are living tomorrow! "
Her were filled with stars, Damon had never seem her so happy, not even the day Annie was born. Damon leaned down and kiss her again.

"I love you Isa."

"I love you back and more." She pulled him down, Damon laughed and pulled by the waist her to his height. She rolled her legs around him.

No

No

It didn't happened that way. Annie was just next and unsupervised. Isabella cared too much to do something like that with her so close.

"Ok."  Isabella unfolded her legs. "Let's stop, wait until tonight." She winked at him.

Damon tried to kiss her again, but she was fast to walk away towards Annie passing the doorframe.

Yes, Tomorrow.

He had prepared a huge house with many rooms elegantly furnished. The domain around was his and offered plenty of spare to run whenever he would shifted. Whenever Annie was a wolf or a which, the house was big enough to let them raise her and teach her how to control her gifts. Having Annie was never planned. It became a necessity in order to survive. It was their duty to populate the wolf realm with as many kids as possible.

Finally they would provide their daughter and their future children a life where they had a voice and an ownership to their life. Something that he or his wife never had. They thought they did, until they grew up.

Baby Annie tipsy walked between his legs. Damon picked her up. She had his eyes, but her hair had Isabella's colour. His wife smiled at him.

"We need to make another one."

His head looked at her in disbelief. They couldn't, Not until they were sure to be safe in the other side. Eventually, he needed to find a way to get out of the grid and even after. They wanted to learn how to life as humans before anything else.
