I am finally done revisiting my story. I am quite happy with all the improvements I did. Hopefully, you will like it.

My goal is simple: I want my stories to make readers forget their own reality for a little while, to feel something, to be swept away. And I won't stop working on this one until it does just that.

About the Story
Mental Illness Themes
I've done some research into mental health topics like schizophrenia and dissociative identity disorder (DID). These complex conditions helped inspire the dynamic between a wolf and their host in the paranormal world. I feel they best capture the tension, duality, and blurred boundaries of identity that define their relationship. This is one of the reasons the story carries a mature rating.
Violence
The story also explores darker themes such as physical violence, psychological abuse, and combat. I've especially enjoyed learning how to describe fight scenes more vividly by watching movies with audio descriptions. It's been a great tool for sharpening that skill. While I've included intense moments, I've made a conscious effort to avoid excessive gore, keeping everything within Wattpad's content guidelines.

About Me
At some point, I realized that life had taken the wheel—and I was just along for the ride. I had lost touch with the things that once made me me, outside of being a mom, a wife, and a worker. That's when I rediscovered writing.
I used to love telling stories, whether it was to pass the time, spook someone with a scary tale, or simply captivate a child's imagination. So when I found out about Wattpad and how it gave anyone the chance to become an amateur writer, I thought, Why not? How bad could it be?
(Lol. It's been a ride ever since. There is so much to it!)
