I was completely aware na she's still into me, pero ano tong nararamdaman ko. It puts you in peace yet that same sensation makes you think a lot.

Sa sobrang kabado ko that moment, hindi namin alam ni Luna na umuwi na yung tatlo. They left us alone, on purpose. I opened my phone and our group chat notifs welcomed me. Well, what do I expect from my friends.

Cain: ehem, yung dalawa dyan manhid

Daph: grabe di kami naramdamang umalis #ghoster

Jun: baka bukas ng umaga andyan pa sila eh, umuwi na kayo uy

Diell: ano na naman problema niyo-

Ah, of course. Di nila kami titigilan after what happened. The typical tactics ng mga kaibigan namin, ipush at asarin hanggang sa mahulog. One more push and something might happen once again.

I spent a bit more time with Luna. Andami ko palang namiss na parts ng buhay niya after her accident, pero thinking of those days puts me back through my hard times especially when I often visit her just to be pushed away. She has reasons to do that but nasaktan ako.

Maaga akong natulog kasi wala rin akong ginagawa at tulog na rin ang kapatid ko. She's taking some break, pagod na pagod na mentally.

I woke up with a big realization in my mind. Malapit na pala birthday ko. Sa sobrang dami ng nangyari, pati birthday ko muntik ko pang makalimutan. Gosh what should I do on my special day, magiging 20 na ako, tangina gurang na. Hindi ako pumasok dahil nakakatamad kaya I went at Brian's library to read some books pero feeling ko na di ko siya maaabutan don.

Pumasok ako sa loob at agad kong nakita ang Sister at younger sibling ni Brian, Ate Olivia and Francine.

Napatanong si Francine pero masaya ito na makita ako. "Diell ikaw pala yan, magbabasa ka ba or andito ka kay Brian?" Tumango na lang ako at agad na kumuha si Ate Olivia ng coffee for me.

She smirked at me. "You're here for someone that's not here right now, gosh my baby boy's flirting with a girl named Bonnie." Ate patted my head bago bumalik sa counter. Both of them were wearing flannel and jeans, I guess they want to live simple life just like Brian.

Inubos ko muna ang kape bago maghanap ng libro sa mga shelf, may mga books about history and literature kaya agad ko itong kinuha. Pabalik na ko sa upuan when I noticed that someone took my spot.

"Inagaw mo na naman upuan ko ha." tinapunan ko ng masamang tingin si Luna na gumagawa ng reviewer for history.

Tinawanan lang niya ako. "That's so childish, Diell." We proceeded to review things ng buong maghapon, history is quite complicated lalo na pag may nalaman kang bago. It never ends, like a maze because when you thought that's the end of it, you're absolutely wrong.

Lalabas sana ako para bumili ng meryenda dahil 3pm na at mukang nagugutom na si Luna. Before I can even stand up, pinaupo niya ako at siya ang nagprisintang bumili. Hindi na ako nagpumilit because I know that she might start a debate over going out to buy snacks.

20 minutes later at nakabalik na siya sa library. Binaba niya ang supot na mukang maraming laman at mukang mabibigat.

"I bought you soda, some cookies and chocolate bars. It's on me na Diell." as she brought out a pint of ice cream. "Ah, and for these... kainin mo yan pag-uwi mo but I'll eat mine here." Nginitian ko na lang siya at kumain habang nagbabasa.

Acts of service is one of my favorite things about Luna, alam niya ang hinahanap mo just by a glance. Hindi yan mag-aatubiling tulungan ka pag nahihirapan sa mga bagay bagay. She's very concerned with the closest people around her.

Pinipilit kong magbasa pero iisang tao lang ang tumatakbo sa isip ko. Luna, ano ba talagang balak mo sa akin?

It was almost 8pm nang matapos kami sa pagrereview at pagbabasa, she offered me to eat dinner sa bahay nila. Medyo malapit lang rin dito sa library kaya nilakad na lang namin.

The street was so dark and the lights were the only thing that's shining so much right now. I looked at the stars above, it gave me hope everytime I stare to it. While busy looking at the constellations, something touched my hand, it was Luna's.

"Thank God you're looking at the stars, kaya nahawakan ko kamay mo." Luna said to me with so much adoration in her pretty eyes. Holding hands while walking at night huh? Physical touch and Quality time it is.

I was perplexed dahil pagbukas namin ng pinto ay wala si Tita at si Mark, kaming dalawa lang ang tao.

"Pasok, I'll cook lang." she grabbed the plastic bag filled with snacks she bought for me earlier. Tinignan ko ang mga nakasabit sa walls while she was busy cooking. Most of it was their family pictures until I saw our photo together from the seaside, napaluha ako bigla.... so she still loves me... nag-hintay talaga siya para sakin.

Hindi ko na napigilan ang luha ko na tumulo ng tuluyan at naramdaman kong may yumakap sa akin. She really knows when to save me.

"Heal yourself first, hmm?? I promise, I can and I will wait. Ikaw na yan eh, alangan sayangin ko pa?" patting me repeatedly to stop crying. Words of affirmation, the thing she's really good at.

Luna even kissed my forehead just to assure me na gagawin niya ang pangako niya for me. I'm still figuring things out but here she is, giving answers to my questions na matagal nang gumugulo sa isip ko.

Maayos kaming nakakain ng dinner pero umulan ng malakas, that was out of the blue. My sister messaged me to inform me na she made dinner and even sent a video of herself cooking.

Dane: just stay wherever you are, bukas ka na umuwi kasi malakas ang ulan right now

Dane: take care kuya<//3

Luna asked. "So saan ka matutulog? Dito na?" Napa-oo na lang ako because I have no choice either, but sleeping with her might make me overthink for a month.

Paulit ulit niya kong tinawanan. "Gosh, I won't do anything. You will sleep peacefully tonight." I washed my face bago pumasok sa kwarto niya, medyo nahihilo na rin ako.

She gave a me a peaceful night, just like what she said. Nagising akong wala siya sa tabi ko but I smelled something in the kitchen and I knew that Luna was cooking.

She welcomed me when I got out of her room, muka siyang masaya as she gave me a bracelet, which is matching with hers. Ah, receiving gifts.

"I hope you will think of me pag suot suot mo yan, my energy will always come to you. Magiging safe ka palagi dahil sakin galing yan."

Eh binigyan kita ng bracelet non naaksidente ka, joke lang.

The next days before exam was like that, spending time with Luna in her house or mine. Something's different with me pag kasama ko siya, it was a feeling that I carried for years and I came up with a realization.
