Chapter 6

#skiptime: A few weeks later:

"Are you alright?"

"Yeah..."

"Don't lie to me, y/n. You don't sound well to me"

"Aera, don't worry. I'm fine"

"Did you find a job yet?"

Silence

"y/n?"

"well...I'll in a few days"

"y/n, you gotta---"

"Aera, I have some important work to do can I talk to you later?", I interrupted her making her stop saying anything any further.

I could hear her sigh from the other end of the call.

"I see. Call me when you feel like talking"

"Yes, bye", and with that, I hung up the call and silently stared down at the cell phone in my hand.

"I'm sorry, Aera. But I can't stress you out more because of my problems. You already helped me a lot", I mumble to myself while placing down the cell phone on the side of the bed.

Past few days have been hard a lot more harder than before. Since the day I met that man at the party, my life is not going well.

Everything is just so fucked up.

#Meanwhile: at Jungkook's place:
[Author's pov]:

"Did you get what I asked for?", jungkook asked as he turned around to face the man.

"Master here is everything you asked for", The man in the black suit placed down the documents on the desk and stepped back.

Jungkook picked up the documents and started going through them.

And suddenly, a devilish grin formed on his lips as his eyes traced that name written down on the paper.

"Park y/n", he mumbled.

#skiptime: 4 hours later: [Park mansion]:

"What should we do?", Lina asked as she looked at Anna who was calmly following her skincare routine.

"Give her a call. What else can we do?", Anna replied calmly.

"Call her? Are you serious? Do you think she will come back after what we have done to her?", Lina raised her voice at Anna.

She couldn't believe how stress-free Anna was behaving.

A deep sigh escaped Anna's lips as she stood up from her place and turned around to take a look at Lina.

"Mother, calm down", she said.

"How can I---"

"She has no other choice than coming back to us", Anna interrupted.

Lina couldn't figure out what Anna meant by that as she pulled her brows together.

"Explain", she said.

"This world is not a free place. She must be struggling after leaving park mansion. And if we give her a call and ask her to return back then she would be grateful to us", Anna cleared.

But Lina was not quite convinced by her reason. She was still worried.

"It's not as easy as it looks. What If she asks the reason behind why are we suddenly are asking her to return?", Lina raised a question as she glanced up at Anna.

"If she comes back willingly then it's well and good for her but if she doesn't..", Anna paused as an evil grin contorted her face.

"then?"
