Chapter 33

[Y/n's pov]:

My heart pounded in my chest, matching the rhythm of my racing thoughts. The tight ropes constricting my wrists dug into my skin, leaving painful marks.

My eyes were covered by a suffocating blindfold, rendering me sightless. A tape tightly sealed my mouth, muffling any attempt to call for help.

Panic surged through my body, my mind desperately clinging to the hope that Jungkook would somehow come to my rescue. Tears streamed down my cheeks, mingling with my fear and frustration.

My hands strained against the restraints, but the ropes held firm, refusing to yield my desperate struggle. I felt utterly vulnerable, trapped in a nightmare from which there seemed to be no escape.

What if...what if no one would have noticed my disappearance? Will it end just like this...? What if no one comes to my rescue..? W-What if...I don't make it out..?

Thoughts raced through my mind, each one more haunting than the last. I felt the weight of despair settling upon me, accepting my fate in the confines of the backseat. Tremors of fear wracked my body, my lips quivering beneath the tape.

The scratch marks on my wrists bore witness to my relentless attempts to break free. "I...I don't want to go...Please...I don't want it to end this way..." my lips quivered, holding back the cry as I pleaded internally.

As I struggled to set myself free, suddenly the car sped down the road, making me wonder if we reached the destination.

Did we reach? No, no please...no..s-someone help me..p-please.

Panic surged through my veins as I realized that I was completely trapped now. That was until, "What's going on?" Aiden's voice cut through the tension, making me stop moving in my place.

Even though I couldn't see him, I recognized the sound of his voice. As per his question, we have not reached the place yet. It means we are still on our way. I thought to myself but soon the driver's response made me freeze in my spot.

[Author's pov]:

"Master, a car just overtook us. It seems like it has been following us for a while now," the driver said, his grip on the steering wheel tightening.

A car has been following us..? Y/n thought to herself as her breath got caught in her throat, wondering if it was Anna's another conspiracy.

A woman who didn't hesitate to sell her sister for money, what can one expect from her?

"Master, there are also several cars approaching us at a high speed," as if things couldn't get any worse, the driver's words were punctuated by the sight of black, sleek cars approaching at an alarming speed.

The driver's fear was palpable as he hesitated, unsure of how to escape this impending threat.

What is going on over here..? Y/n's palms automatically closed into fist balls, and her body started shaking just at the thought of what was waiting ahead of her.

Aiden's voice was filled with frustration as he instructed, "Take a U-turn," his words laced with urgency.

The driver nodded, ready to execute the plan, but his intentions were halted by a shocking sight in the side mirror.

Aiden glanced out the window, and his eyes widened as he saw there were more sleek cars tailing them.

And were now surrounding them, forming an impenetrable barrier. The driver's voice trembled with fear as he spoke, his words barely above a whisper.
