[Y/n's pov]:
I sat in the library, my mind drifting away from the open book in front of me. The pages seemed to blur together as my thoughts consumed me. It's been a month since I last saw Jungkook, and the absence of his presence weighed heavily on my heart.
I couldn't help but wonder where he was, what he was doing, and why I still found myself bothered by his thoughts.
Isn't this what I was desperate for? Freedom. There is no one to bother me now or to tell me what to do but then again why am I not happy? Conflicting emotions swirled within me, a mix of love and hate that left me feeling lost and confused.
My gaze wandered, my eyes scanning the rows of books around me, as if searching for answers that laid hidden within their pages. But no matter how hard I tried, I couldn't escape the thoughts of him. Even in the quiet solitude of the library, his image haunted my thoughts.
What's wrong with me?
With a heavy sigh, I finally closed the books, admitting defeat in my quest for focus. I carefully packed them into my backpack, the weight of my unanswered questions still lingering in the air.

As I made my way upstairs, the familiar sight of housekeeper Nancy caught my attention. She was engrossed in conversation with one of the maids. It seemed like she was busy as always, but I couldn't help but pause, intrigued by the scene unfolding before my eyes.
Just as I was about to approach her, a sudden shift in the atmosphere made her senses tingle. She felt my gaze on her, and as she turned around, her eyes met with mine intense stare.
Housekeeper Nancy's, ever perceptive, quickly gestured to the maid to leave. I blankly stared at her as she headed in my direction, a warm smile graced her face.
"How can I help you?" She asked, her voice carried a comforting tone, as if she held the answers to the unspoken questions swirling in my mind. I was momentarily taken aback, about to voice my thoughts, but her words preemptively filled the silence.
"I have no update from the Master's side," her voice held a tinge of uncertainty, as if she wished she could provide more information. "Maybe he will not be back even today."
I was taken aback by her reply. "I..well..I was not going to ask about that," I replied, my gaze lowered. I don't know why but I have this feeling within me: disappointment. It's not like I am missing him or anything. It's good to know that he is not around. Yeah.
Hearing my retort, Housekeeper Nancy nodded ever so slightly, mustering a small smile in response. "I know. I just wanted to let you know." She responded before walking away from there and I silently watched her take her leave.
Soon, I resumed my journey, ascending the stairs with a bizarre feeling that I was having.

[Author's pov]:[10:30 p.m]:
Jungkook sat in the private room of the club, his body sinking into the plush cushions of the couch. In his hand, a crystal glass held a golden whiskey, its rich aroma filling the air.
With a determined gaze, he brought the glass to his lips, downing its contents in one swift motion. The empty glass found its place on the glass table before him, the sound of its landing echoing through the room.
Beside him, Jimin leaned back on his own couch, his eyes fixed on Jungkook. The concern in his voice broke the silence, "Did you not find that girl from the party yet?"
[Note: the girl they are talking about is y/n. Jungkook has no idea that the girl he had a one-night stand with (chapter 1) was y/n as he was also drugged that day and now he is trying to find her. Y/n had attended that party as well with her step-sister, who had drugged her and tried to end her up with an old man for money but mistakenly y/n was sent to Jungkook's room. I hope this explanation helps.]
