"Did he really forget about me?", I glanced up and looked at him silently.

But Isn't that a good thing? It's a good thing that he forget about me.

"Actually, I read an article about you in the newspaper", I responded trying to act as natural as I could.

I must say I am actually in a better luck. I happened to go through newspaper today in search of job related articles where I happened to see his name.

He is the only inheritor of kim corporation.

He didn't say anything in response to it but stared back at me.

Is he still not convinced?

"Is that so?", He narrowed his gaze at me.

I was left dumbfounded by his question.

I don't know if he is pretending to not know me or did he really forgot about me.

"y-yeah", I stammered as I looked away from him.

He did not say a word for a brief moment after hearing my response.

[Author's pov]:
"Thank you for your help, today", y/n again spoke up breaking the awkward silence between them as she tilted he head up again.

She was not sure if taehyung was messing around with her or he really forgot that they met last night at the club.

But who cares? She was actually glad that he doesn't remember her after all that was not something worth remembering.

An uneasy smile flashed on her lips as she waited for him to say something in response.

"Be my girlfriend", taehyung finally spoke up making her smile fade.

"What?", she asked giving him a dumbstruck look not getting what he meant.

Did he just ask me to be my girlfriend? WHAT?!!

"I am giving you a chance to repay me for the help that I did today", he replied with a straight face.

A chance to repay? What sort of chance is this?!

I thought looking at his face but it was quite hard to read his facial expressions. No one could tell if he was being serious or just playing around.

"I didn't get you", y/n shook her head slightly as she pulled her brows together and gave him a confused look.

"I helped you so now you must be feeling thankful and the next thing you will be saying is I don't know how I am supposed to thank you for your help today so I am giving you a chance to return the favor", he finished.

[Regular pov]:
Can he read minds? How did he know that I was about to say that? Yeah, I do feel grateful and would like to thank him for today but not this way.

I was in absolute shock as I stared at him with my eyes broad open.

And suddenly, his lips curled upward into a soft smirk as if he read my mind.

"No, I can't read minds", he replied with the same playful smirk still playing on his lips while I awkwardly looked away.

This is bad...

I was engrossed in my own thoughts until he spoke up again interrupting my thoughts, "I didn't get an answer to my question yet."

"I am thankful for today but being your girlfriend. No, I don't think we know each other that well and----"

"You are getting me wrong", he cuts me off before I could finish my statement.
