First, meet

An hour later :

She said she will be right back..

A forced frustrated smile formed on my lips as I looked around in search of Aera.

"Where did she go?", I thought to myself as my eyes scanned the room filled with rich businessmen and women.

"Why is she no where to be seen? Did she forget about me?", I balled my fists in an attempt to let out my frustration.

Gahhhhh...she definitely did forget about me.

I stood up from my chair while picking up a glass of wine that was placed in front of me on the table.

I didn't feel like sitting there and waiting for her any longer.

I should go and find her that was the first thought that crossed my mind.

I started making my way in the direction in which Aera left like an hour ago.

"What's taking her so long?", I mumbled as I searched her through the crowd.

I was about to take another step ahead until my eyes caught sight of aera who was standing at a distance away having a conversation with a guy in a black suit.

A smile formed on my lips but soon it faded away as my brows crashed together.

It didn't seem like they were having a normal conversation.

Something looked off. Aera vigorously kept on bowing down to the guy as if she was apologizing to him.

"What is happening over there?", I stared at them for a while and suddenly the guy grabbed Aera's wrist.

I could clearly see her struggle to get his hands off her.

Rage pulsed through my veins as I made my way toward them.

I was so pissed at that point seeing him force my best friend that I completely ignored what was going on around me.

All I could focus on at that moment was them.

I was about to take another step ahead but stopped as I accidentally bumped into the person walking past me and the glass of wine from my hand slipped.

"Shit"

I lowkey cursed myself when I realized that almost half of the wine in the glass was spilled onto the front of the person's white shirt who I just bumped into.

I didn't dare to look up at the person standing across from me and started apologizing profusely.

"I am so sorry", I said, still with my head lowered.

"What has she done?"

"What's wrong with that woman?"

"She spilled wine all over, young master"

"Was that a stunt to approach him?"

"I have seen women like her who will do anything just to grab attention"

I could hear people around me whispering and talking amongst themselves.

I know I should have watched my steps but it was a mistake.

How can they all just blame me as I did it on purpose?

"Woman, what have you done?!"

A loud angry voice grabbed my attention making me glance up to the other side just to find a man in a black suit approaching me with angry eyes.

He looked like a bodyguard. He was about to say further but got stopped by a hand.

My gaze followed the hand to take a look at the face of the person and at that moment my eyes got locked with the enchanting man standing right in front of me.

His deep dark brown eyes were staring back right into mine.

"I...I am sorry...", I mumbled in a low tone, and upon hearing that a mischievous grin formed on his straight face.

What's with that....smile...?

A thought popped up inside my head as I gave him a confused look.

"What is going on over there?"

"Is Master Jeon, protecting that lady?"

"Who is she?"

Everyone around started gossiping again and the only thing that bothered me the most was his name.

"Master Jeon?"

I stared at him for a long moment.

I couldn't understand why but something about him was making me feel as if this was not the first time we met.

I have met him before but where?

I was engrossed in my thoughts until his deep magnetic voice rang out, which made me snap out of my thoughts.

"Do you think a simple sorry can unravel all the problems?", he asked.

I couldn't understand what he meant by that as I pulled my brows together.

"What-"

"How are you going to make me forgive you?", he lifted an eyebrow at me.

I was left dumbfounded by his words.

"Y/n?", a familiar voice made me look to the other side just to find Aera standing there with a concerned look on her face.

"Aera-"

And even before I could finish she rushed to my side and started apologizing in my stead.

"I'm so sorry, young master jeon", she said, lowering her gaze.

And seeing that I grabbed her arm and pulled her back towards me.

"Why are you apologizing?", I asked, and she panicked.

"It was a mistake and I apologized", I cleared, and she slightly shook her head in a no.

As if she was trying to pass me a hint to not say anything any further.

I ignored her and looked ahead to face the man standing in front of me again.

"Sir, I am sorry for my mistake but if an apology can't work I am willing to pay", I said, and Aera's eyes widened.

The whole room went silent.

"Who is that woman?"

"Is she crazy?"

"Did she just say she is willing to pay?"

"Can she even afford it?"

I was about to say further until someone firmly grabbed my wrist making me stop.

"What are you doing?", aera asked while giving me a worried look.

"Master, please pardon us"

Saying that she started dragging me out of the room along with her.

She didn't let me stay there even for a second longer.

"Y/n, what do you think you were doing? He is the last man we should offend", Aera said as she continued to drag me out.

[Author's pov] :
Jungkook stood at his place as he watched aera drag y/n out with her.

And that playful smirk from before displayed on his lips again.

"Interesting", he mumbled as he watched them take their leave.

"Y/n, is it?", he focused his gaze on y/n.

"I want her"
