It was quiet. Too quiet, perhaps. Not a single vehicle could be heard out in the city streets from the apartment complex. This was due to a recent snowstorm that had blown through Rosemeadow. Ice and frost had coated almost everything outside. In response, both Luke and Zander only hoped on laying close to one another in the peaceful environment of their apartment.

The mauve-haired boy laid in his and his boyfriends bed, waiting for the auburn-haired male to return from the other room. He was staring up at the ceiling, in hopes it would pass time by so Luke would return sooner.

A sudden creak came from the entrance of the room as the door opened slowly which revealed the brunette. He smiled at his lover, shutting the door behind him calmly and walking towards the bedside. "You look sad.. did you miss me?" he said, laying down beside the pianist. Zander nodded while lying his head on Luke's shoulder and wrapping his arms around the boy's torso.

The brunette grinned. "Darling, I was only gone for five minutes." "Yeah, but it felt like five hours." Zander replied as his gaze went upwards. The taller boy reached toward the bedside table and turned off the small lamp, causing the small room to suddenly turn dark.

He grabbed the blanket that only covered up to his torso, and draped it over the two. Zander snuggled closer to his lover, pecking him on the neck.

Luke glanced down at the latter, his heart melting at how calm yet joyous the boy seemed with a smile on his face. He wrapped one arm around Zander's waist, the other brushed through his mauve locks. "I love you. So much." he whispered.

"I love you more."

A moment of quietness passed, the couple maintaining how they were. The brunette looked out the window and noticed that it had suddenly begun to snow. He slightly gasped at the sight, catching the attention of his fatigue boyfriend.

"What happened?"

"It's snowing. Maybe we should go out tomorrow." the boy requested. Zander grinned at the idea. "Yeah, that seems like fun." he responded before burying his head into his lover's shoulder once more.

The periwinkle-eyed boy yawned, his eyes became more droopy. "I'm tired.. what about you." "Kinda. But you're adorable when your sleepy." Luke responded, nuzzling Zander's hair.

A slight tint of pink appeared on the pianist's cheeks. "Oh, shut up." he said. The brunette slightly laughed at his reaction.

Luke gazed up at the ceiling. Many things had been on his mind recently. Both him and Zander were soon to be graduating from college, and he hoped on taking the next step with him. But he also had his mind focused on getting hired for a good career and making a good income for the two in the future as well. It was a lot to handle but the outcome from it would have a good effect.

The drummer was distracted from his thoughts when he noticed the sound of faint snoring beneath him. He peered down and looked at Zander. He had fallen asleep.

Luke blushed at the sight of his lover sleeping yet so serenely on his chest. He slowly brushed Zander's mauve bangs out of his face before delicately kissing him on the forehead.

He pulled the blankets slightly upward before shutting his eyes. One last thing was heard before the auburn-haired boy fell asleep;

"Sleep well, love."
