Love is a lot of things.
Love is caring, patient, and compassionate, true. But love is also pain. To love is to suffer and to enjoy love is to find meaning in the suffering.
If you love truly and unconditionally then you have chosen to empty yourself just so you can fill someone else.
Love is being vulnerable to someone and knowing that they have the power to destroy you.
