*A/N: Part 2 to Only Know You Love Her When You Let Her Go

She looked so peaceful, almost like she could have been sleeping... Robin decided he needed to say goodbye, to feel her lips on his one last time, before he let her go for good.

He leaned down, placed his hand on her cheek. Her skin was already cold. A tear fell from his eye and onto her cheek as he leaned in closer, carefully touching his lips to hers. They were ice cold, like she'd never been alive. He kept his lips there as more tears fell from his face onto hers. All of a sudden, her lips started getting warmer, warmer, warmer. He pulled back and looked at her. Color was rising in her cheeks and her eyelids were fluttering. He felt his heart pick up speed, hope rising in his gut.  He leaned in and kissed her again. She kissed back.

Robin pulled back. Her eyes were still closed.

"Regina," he whispered breathlessly.

She opened her eyes and soft, chocolate brown ones met crisp, vibrant blue ones.

"Hi," she whispered.

Robin wrapped her in a warm, tight hug, crying softly into her hair. She gasped; she was taken aback by his actions. She closed her eyes and relished finally being in his arms again.

"I thought I'd lost you," Robin cried. "I'm sorry. I am so, so, so, so sorry, my love. I'm so sorry. I'm sor—" Robin was cut off by Regina.

"Hey. It's okay. It's fine," she said.

"No, Regina, it isn't. It's not fine. I acted like a shitty husband. I treated you like shit. It's not alright. I- I should have- I should have realized how much pain and worry and heartache I was causing you. I'm so sorry. I understand if you don't want to be with me anymore-"

"What the hell, Robin!? We're married, damn it! Why would I ever not want to be with you?! It doesn't matter whatever it was you did, I will always forgive you. I will always forgive you, and love you. I could never stop loving or wanting to be with you. I don't care what the hell you did. You are my husband, my soulmate, and I will love you forever and always. Nothing will ever change that," Regina said.

Robin grinned and brought her in for another hug.

"I'm so sorry," he whispered into her hair.

"I forgive you," she whispered back.

"I- I thought I had lost you, that I'd never get to see you again. I- I thought I'd have to live with my last words to you being that you should be a better wife. Because you shouldn't. You shouldn't change anything about yourself. You are the perfect wife, the perfect mother. I regretted that I said it the moment it came out of my mouth. Regina, I love you. I love you so damn much, and I don't ever want to lose you. Please, don't ever leave me again."

"Robin... What are you talking about?" She asked.

"You don't remember?"

"I remember... I remember picking up the phone, and talking to you, and—" she gasped, "Oh my God. Oh my God, I'm so sorry. Shit, Robin, I am so sorry. You're- You're not an asshole, you don't treat me like shit. I'm so sorry I said that," she apologized, tears in her eyes.

"Hey, hey, it's okay. You were mad and upset. You were hurt. I hurt you. You don't need to be sorry. Now, what else do you remember?"

She took a deep breath and wiped her eyes.

"I... I remember saying that, and then out of nowhere there was a car, and it hit the driver's side of my car, and then the air bag, and I slammed on the break, and then... Dark. And then, I remember hearing your voice, but I couldn't make out what you were saying. I couldn't move or feel anything. And then there was dark, and cold, and I was suddenly so tired... And I tried to hold on, to stay awake, if I even was awake, but I just didn't have the strength. And then... That's it. I don't remember anything else. Robin, what happened? What happened to me?"
