July 5th, 3:18Pm..

It took Keith several minutes to compose himself. The dozen eyes from the other seats in the waiting area bored into him, but he did his best to ignore them.

Allura pulled back slowly, keeping her hands in Keith's shoulders as she did.
Her eyes gleamed, as they always did.
Her smile was almost as bright as Lance's.

"How are you, Keith?"

Keith wiped his eyes, and sniffled. Then held on to Allura's wrists, still unsure how real she was.
"I..uh.."
Keith swallowed, and took a deep breath.
"I'm... surprised."

Allura chuckled.
"So was I when I got an email from Lance here."

Lance stepped up beside them, and Keith let go of Allura's wrists, to turn to Lance. Allura pulled her hands away, and Keith took a step towards Lance.

Lance rubbed the back of his neck, and Keith could see a flush in his cheeks.
"I uh, did say that I have no problem pushing my way into people's-"

He was cut off as Keith wrapped his arms around Lance's neck, and pressed their lips together. Lance was frozen in shock for a moment. He'd expected all kinds of reactions from Keith. Annoyance for ignoring what Keith said. Anger for going behind his back. Subtle discomfort at the situation at the very least.
What Lance did not expect, was for Keith to cry in Allura's arms, and then kiss him in front of a dozen people.

Nonetheless, Lance wrapped his arms around Keith's waist, and held him, for as long as Keith would let him.

When Keith pulled away, he rolled his eyes, but was smiling. "I told you not to."

"Yep."
Lance said cheerily.

"You did it anyways."

"Yep."

"Thank you....Lance."

Lance smiled, not some wide pearly smile, just a simple small smile. A mix of surprise and joy in his face.
"You're welcome, Keef."

"Keef?"
Allura asked with a chuckle from behind Keith.

Keith visibly cringed.
"Lance, don't say that in public."

'Ah, there's my awkward boyfriend.'
Lance thought.
Lance nodded, with no intentions of keeping the promise.

Keith turned around to face Allura. Her smile was still bright and full
"He said Keith."
Keith said.

Allura shook her head with a grin.
"Sure he did."

Lance stepped beside the two of them, spreading his arms wide.
"So! Now that we have a reunion, let's not sit in the airport waiting area maybe? Let's head back to the apartment."

"Sure, I planned on renting a hotel here, I can call from your place."
Allura said, walking back to her seat to get her luggage.

Keith stopped closer to Lance, and whispered into his ear.
"That's not a good idea."

"What? Why not? Where else would we go?"
Lance whispered back.

"Lance...the place has...things lying around."

Lance out his hands on his hips.
"You really think she cares about a messy apartment?"

"No, not the- The other stuff we have lying around."

It took Lance a moment to realize what Keith was referring to.
"Ooh, the drugs. Yeah."

Keith nearly facepalmed.
"Lance, we are in an airport, don't say it out loud!"
