One and a half years later..."Keith, UP!"
Lance shouted when he smacked the back of Keith's head, as the man procrastinated on their new couch that he had recently finished moving into the undecorated and freshly painted living room of their new house.Keith countered by flinging the pillow from his lap, and over his shoulder at Lance. Lance dodged the pillow, and with hands on hips, pouted.
"Keeeeiiiith."Keith rolled his eyes, and let his head rest against the back of the new couch, as he stared up at Lance.
"Whaaaat?"
Keith mocked. It was a little game he played, rarely, but more than he used to. He'd match Lance's tone, which usually had two results. Lance would laugh, because he found Keith using voice inflection instead of his typical monotone to be hilarious, and unusual. Or he'd scoff and walk away. This time it had neither effect, and Lance was not going to be distracted, for once."We don't have time for your procrastination! And I am not spending the first night in our second house on the couch."
Keith sighed.
"You mean our first house."
He corrected, taking the blue raspberry sucker out of his mouth, and pointing it at Lance."You lost this argument two years ago, we are not having it again."
"What's wrong with sleeping on the couch together? Doesn't sound so bad to me"
Keith mumbled, closing his eyes as his body was exhausted from a full day of moving furniture into the house while Lance watched, and worried over him scratching the new paint. Not that Lance hadn't offered to help, he did, but it had hardly taken half an hour for him to be tired out."Okay, yeah, it sounds nice.-"
Lance conceded with a hand gesture.
"-But it'd be nicer on a bed.""Or in a forest."
Keith said with a smirk, recalling one of their many so called camping trips that they used to go on after their proposal road trip.Lance shook his head.
"I regret making that a kink for you. But com'on, the house needs to be ready not only for us, but for Evan and Chance."Keith shrugged.
"Evan and Chance can find their own place to stay for the wedding. I don't want them in our spare room for a week.""Oh com'on, they won't be rude or noisy...besides, I miss both of them, and-"
"Lance if Chance is anything like he was when he visited last Christmas, I do not want him touching our bedsheets. Especially not with Evan and him in the same bed."
Lance chuckled, and walked around Keith through the living room filled with moving boxes, and he sat down next to Keith.
"You're assuming they'll get together. I thought you said you didn't ship them?"
"No, I said shipping people is weird stuff that only anime fans do."
"So, you didn't see that look Chance gave Evan when we were all on that face time call last week to invite them over?"
Keith shrugged.
"Well yeah, I saw the look. Which is why I don't want the two of them sharing a bed here.""Well, you didn't answer when I asked you who would stay with us yesterday. I didn't give any final decisions yet though, so do you want Shiro and Alura here instead?"
Keith's head shot up.
"Fuck no! I don't want to hear Evan and Chance getting it on, but I definitely don't want to hear my brother and Alura doing it across the hall.""Then pick already! Shiro and Alura, Evan and Chance, or Katie and Hunk."
Keith chuckled.
"Katie will not share a bed with anyone. But I'd rather her stay."
