One.

The sun shined bright past the shades that were drawn half way down the window. It was a warm summer Monday morning in Hawaii. McKenna was just finally waking up as the alarm started to scream through the room. She groaned slapping her alarm clock. She climbed out of bed mumbling and grumbling she heard movement down stairs which meant her brother along with his daughter her niece was wide awake. She stretched her limbs for a moment before she moved on to doing her morning routine. Her brother was taking her to work today so she can talk to the crime lab to get a job.

McKenna's Pov:
I smiled after I wiped my mouth from toothpaste and water to make sure my everything bagel seeds were out my teeth. I grabbed my glasses placing them on I felt good as hell today. I smirked to my self adjusting the cami I was wearing with my plaid top. "You're looking good today" Danny said leaning against the doorway "Why thank you" I smiled pulling my hair up into a messy bun to complete the look.
"Alright are you ready?" He asked I nodded my head jogging past him punching his side he groaned holding his side. "I hate you" I smirked sliding my socks on my feet.

"Come on Danny I've been doing that trick for years now you haven't caught on yet?"  He rolled his eyes I grabbed my all black Nikes and slid them on. "Let's get this show on the road" I grabbed my phone wallet and the folder. We left my room going town stairs Grace just finished up packing her lunch "Really Danno?" I sighed pulling money out my wallet handing her it "Buy whatever at school I know the food is good" she smiled hugging me "Thank you Aunt Kenna" I smiled hugging her back sticking my tongue out at him. "Alright come on we are about to be late let's go" Danny gave me a dirty look once Grace let me go and walked ahead of us "Wait till she's not in the car" he walked ahead of me I shook my head. "Ooo shiver me Timbers I'm scared" I followed behind him.

  -Heading to Headquarters-

"I don't understand why you underestimate my parenting McKenna Ann" I rolled my eyes "Danny, I'm not underestimating your parenting but there is some really good snacks at school come on you remember"  he continued this fight still the whole way to work. Once we pulled up I got out slamming the car door shut. I stormed away "Where are you going you can't get in with out me!" Danny yelled I still keep walking "Fuck you Danno" I walked up to the front doors waiting for him because he is right I won't be able to get down in the crime lab with out a reason. I don't have a interview at all Kono set this up for danny. Well that's what he told me at least.

"Yeah that's what I thought" Danny said jogging up the stairs. I rolled my eyes at him he shook his head "God your annoying" we walked inside we walked straight past everyone up the stairs "Says the one talking" I mumbled he stoped I crashed into the back of him "Ow fuck danny don't do that" he turned looking at me "Then don't mumble under your breath speak up" I rolled my eyes he jogged up the steps we walked inside a room up to a table "Now stay here I have to get something out my office" he walked towards his office.

I looked down at the table the five-O symbol slowly moved around on the screen like the DVD symbol did. "May I help you?" A deep voice called out I jumped turning around to see a tall man with his arms crossed behind me. I forgot how to breath for a moment. He stood towering over me it was like Big Foot meeting one of willy wonka's Oompa Loompas. Okay maybe not that small I came to his chest but I am defiantly small compared to this man. "Why yes you can any day" I smirked to my self he laughed a bit looking around "How did you get in with out a badge?" He asked I leaned to the left to see Danny standing there "Oh hi Danny" I waved he walked up "Oh just the person I wanted you to meet, McKenna this is Steve McGarret my partner. McGarrett this is my sister Mckenna" I smiled holding my hand out to Steve. "Nice to meet you I heard many things about you, keep it up with annoying my brother please" Danny rolled his eyes

"Let's go we are late, Charlie isn't here much longer" Danny started to walk away "You were the one who wanted to pick a fight" he stopped turning around "No you were the one Underestimating my parenting" I sighed deeply looking up at Steve. "Can you please tell this man that the snacks and food at school was actually better then bringing food from home? Wouldn't you like a nice hot lunch?" I asked him he nodded his head a little "Not trying to get into this but I agree with your sister Danno. The hot lunches were the best" I smirked proud of my self "See even just meeting him for one whole minute he sided with me HA. I'm the better sibling" I smirked walking towards danny out the room. We went down to Charlie to the interview Danny had to wait outside while we talked.

Charlie and I hit it off really well he was excited to have someone work along side him to help with case's. He was definitely happy to have some more brains in the lab where we do all the work for the boys. Now yes I would love to move up and do what my brother does. But for now the lab is a perfect option for me only because I didn't go to school for criminal justice I went for Criminology.
