Five.

The alarm screamed through her room again. She sat up studying the window wondering why there birds weren't chipping yet she groaned looking at the time seeing it was only five in the morning. Her classes started at six and work at ten she was going to have one long crappy day but she might as well make the best of it. She definitely wanted to learn has to defend her self and anyone that would need it even if it was for her own family.

McKenna's Pov:
I sat at the desk working on the test I felt a paper ball hit the back of my head I turned to see a group of boy's laughing. I rolled my eyes "Children" I turned back facing my paper still working on my test. I got hit with another paper ball I closed my eyes I grabbed my stuff and moved down to the front the Dean saw what was going on and got them removed from the class she apologized to me I shook my head. I went back to work in my test more and more people started to turn there test in and leave.  It was now down to me and a few others I finished the last page I sighed deeply.

I got up walking up to her desk handing over my paper work. "I must say I'm very proud of you, you are doing really well in my class. Your progress and performance is definitely inspiring to us. That mean's we do our jobs right when we see hard workers like you coming in our class room's" I smiled softly at her "Thank you Miss. Rogers, that means a lot to me. You have a good rest of your day" I waved I walked out her room walking down the hallway I grabbed my lab coat out my back pack I sighed once I see the boys sitting out side once I walked out the door's of the school. "Hey look it's the RAT!" They yelled throwing paper balls at me again "NERD!" They yelled I continued going down the step's blocking them out

"HEY! We are talking to you!" They yelled I continued to walk away once I hit the bend I saw my brother and Steve leaning against the Camaro "Hey!" One grabbed my arm tightly Steve shoved him self off the car but Danny stopped him. I turned throat punching him he quickly let me go grabbing his throat falling to the ground "Don't fucking touch me again! Did your mother ever teach you not to touch women?" I turned walking towards them Danny stood there with a smirk on his face I walked up to him. Steve laughed a bit "Now that was bad ass" I shrugged my shoulders "I don't stand for bullying I hate that shit, just because the teachers like me and I'm passing all my classes" I smiled wide Danny's face lit up! "YES" he lifted me up off the ground running around spinning me around I laughed slapping his back "Danno I have work!" He spun me a bit more and lowered me down to my feet. "Nope Charlie over heard how hard you been working and how tiring school and then work all day was beating your ass so he's allowing you to take some time off to focus on school and once breaks come around you can work in the lab?" He clapped his hands I smiled softly to him pulling him into a hug "God your the best" he laughed hugging me back "Oh I know I am" he smirked I rolled my eyes

"What are you guy's doing here anyways?" I asked Danny pointed over to Steve "Well it was our day off he wanted to go out and do something so  since I saw we were out this way and knew you had that huge test today I thought we would stop and see you" I smiled softly at the both of them "Awe how sweet of you boy's" Steve walked up to us "Hey why don't we celebrate tonight? Go out for some food and drinks?" He asked Danny nodded his head "And I got just the place" he pulled his phone out walking away I looked up at Steve.

"Alrighty then" he said I laughed shaking my head "well I guess I'll see you tonight" I waved a bit to Steve he waved back we went our separate ways. Since I didn't have to go to work I decided to head home and take a damn nap.

  -After nap-
"LET'S GO GIRLS ID FIGURED YOU BOTH BE DONE BY THE TIME ME AND STEVE CAME" Danny yelled up the steps I looked up at Grace in the mirror "Now when a man rushes us like that we now must take even longer" I smirked at her she laughed a bit "Won't he get mad at me?" She asked I shook my head "Your aunt won't let him." There was a knock on the door "We are coming" I opened the door quickly to see Steve standing there. "Sorry I just wanted to see how long the man is about the have a aneurism" I rolled my eyes grabbing my jacket "Let's go Grace" I pushed past walking down the stairs "You should never rush a woman" I shook my head walking out side

  -Restaurant-

I sat right smack next to Steve everyone soon showed up one by one. It turned out to be a great dinner I enjoyed the chicken  parmesan" I grabbed my beer taking a sip. The night slowly came almost to a end Kono took Grace to her house to hang out with her and Adam while danny stayed here drunk with his girlfriend. "Hey" I looked over to see Steve pointing at the dance floor I laughed to my self "I'm getting kind of tired" he looked at the time "Yeah it's definitely getting late. Since you ride in with Danny want me to take you home?" I looked over he was enjoying his time "Yeah if u don't mind" he shook his head "Come on it's alright" we got up I walked over telling danny I was tired and Steve was taking me home I gave them both hug's bye and jogged up to Steve.

  -Home-
"Thank you for walking me to the door" I smiled softly at the ground walking up to the front door. I pulled my keys out my bag turning to face him. "Listen it's been a really great time getting to know you. My brother is one lucky guy to have you as his partner"  he smiled softly shoving his hand's in his pocket's "Thank Kenna" it was quite for a moment I started to fiddle with my keys "Oh fuck it" he said stepping forward I was confused till his lip's touched mine softly. I was frozen in shock but I soon melted into it we stumbled back a bit I was now against the door way wall hips lips softly moved among mine like they were made for it. He slowly pulled away I looked up at him we stood there catching our breath's "I'm sorry" I got my house key quickly unlocking the door rushing inside shutting it behind me before he could even say a word.

why the hell did I panic like that..
