"This color, or this color?" Lexy asked Tyasia and blovee as she flipped through a book of paint swatches and showed them.
"That light pink is cuter than the dark one" Tyasia said as she pointed to a page.
"Thanks girly, because Mr. Greedy over there isn't helpful at all"
"Huh?" Blovee said as he stuffed his chopped cheese in his mouth.
She shook her head and smiled.
"You stay eating"
"What you mean? I ain't eat in madddd long. I had all kind of interviews and shit today, so this my first meal of the day" he said before taking another bite.
" can I have a piece? You know I'm carrying your nephew " Lexy asked.
He pretended to be choking at the nephew part.
"Not funny"
"Fine. Here take a piece" he said as he held the sandwich towards her.
Lexy took the whole thing and walked away smiling.
"So listen, I'm trying to have the beauty room (the name of the salon) be open in less than 2 months. Kay has put a lot of funding into this place for me and I don't want to disappoint him"
"So what are you saying Alexis?" Tyasia asked.
"Well Im saying that I need both of your help, that's why I called you both here today. Well I called Dougie, Setty and c blu too but their asses are always late"
"Be more specific?" Blovee asked as he sat in a spinning chair and rocked back and forth while playing with his dreads.
"You know the basics like helping me set up lighting, building stuff and painting"

"Why get professionals when I have friends? Plus I'll pay you" she said as she pulled out a stack of money.
Blovee and Tyasia looked at eachother then back at lexy.
"Alright alright, we will help you" both tyasia and blovee said in unison.
"Thank you" lexy smiled and put the money away.
"I'll finish talking more about what needs to be done when the rest of the boys arrive, for now though, I guess we are done here. Ill work with both of your schedules to see when you can come in and help me on different things"
Tyasia nodded.
"So girl, enough about this stuff, what's going on with you and quan?"
"Nothing. Quan is just being a bitter baby daddy who can't accept the fact that I'm not going back to him. He put me in this situation and now expects everything to be perfect and for me to go back to him now that's he's out of jail. Like no, Kay has really stepped up. He's a great father and provider for us"
