Miley's p.o.v
Nick and I's relationship has been through so much throughout the past few years. I couldn't believe how far we have come. I knew by the look on his face, and the look in his eyes, that he was serious about our future. I trusted him in ways that I don't understand, and he understood me in areas where I don't understand myself. I was grateful for the communication we had with each other. I felt that I was starting to grow more in love with him, if that were even possible.
"Hey," Nick said reaching over to grab my hand. We were now in the car driving back to California. Which I was happy about.
"Hey," I said lightly squeezing his hand before pulling into my lap.
"I'm glad we decided to drive back instead of flying. We get more time to spend together this way." Nick said glancing at me.
"I know. I am glad we did this too. Once we get back to California, I'll set up everything at the house while you move your things over from your place." I said before bringing his hand to my face to kiss the top of his knuckles. He was so strong and I loved the comfort he provided. His warmth and strength were such a sight to see and I was lucky that they were all mine.
"I'm excited to move in with you. It will be a special step for our relationship and I am ready to share my whole life with you." Nick said breathlessly.
"I can't wait." I said while still holding his hand in mine. The happiness was overwhelming but that didn't mean that I wanted it to end. It was a strange but good overwhelming.
"Me either," Nick squeezed my hand.
Nick's Bluetooth started ringing showing that Joe was calling him.
"Hey Joe," Nick said answering the phone.
"Nick, uh, I'm at your place now with the movers." Joe said. Joe's voice was a bit strange and that put me on the edge and by the look on Nick
S face, he felt the same way.
"Okay, is there a problem or something?" Nick asked unsure of why his brother was even calling him.
"No, no, not really." Joe said. "But, I think mom and dad found out that you are moving."
"What makes you think that?" Nick asked. He suddenly looked concerned and an uneasy feeling began to surface within me.
"Well, I'm not sure exactly how they found out but I got a call today from mom and she seemed really upset and she knows that I am helping you move. She doesn't seem to know where you are moving to but I have a feeling she will find out soon enough." Joe explained.
"I think Mike told her that you were moving. I don't think that he meant to, or that he even knew that you weren't talking to them. I will see him later today and I'll ask." Joe said. My nerves were somewhat calm, but these were still his parents and I really hated being the one to come in between that.
"Okay," Nick said with a sigh.
"Sorry brother. I don't want to stress you or Miley. I just wanted you to aware. They would have found eventually." Joe sighed.
"I know. Thanks for your help. Miley and I should be there sometime tomorrow." Nick said.
"See you then." Joe said before hanging up.
"Great," Nick sighed. "I'm sorry baby." He squeezed my hand.
"It's fine." I said with a small smile.
"I don't want my parents to come between us and our relationship." Nick said bringing my hand to his lips.
"I don't want that either." I smiled at him.
"Let's just enjoy our drive and not think about them." Nick laughed while smiling over at me.
"Let's listen to some music!" I shouted putting the radio on.
"Car karaoke?" Nick asked smiling at me.
"Okay," I laughed.
I took my camera out of my bag and set it on the dashboard so it was facing us. I then grabbed my iPhone and plugged in the AUX cord before picking a song.
"What song should we do?" I asked looking over at Nick who had a big grin on his face.
"You pick!" He glanced over at me then back at the road.
"Okay," I said.
I scrolled through my songs until I found a song that I knew Nick would know. I put on Nicki Minaj's "Only" and watched as Nick started to rap out the song. I tried to rap and sing the song with him but I was too busy laughing at how crazy he was. If people only knew this side of him...I felt lucky enough that I knew it. I was happy that I was filming this. That way I could watch it anytime I needed a laugh. It was funny how he knew the whole song. I kind of wish he would have released a rap song at some point during his music career. It was an amazing and funny talent that he had and people would have been surprised if they knew.
"C'mon, I can't do the whole song by myself." Nick said laughing as he looked over at me.
"Okay, I will rap lil Wayne's part." I smiled as he started dancing while he drove the car.
Once lil Wayne's part came on I rapped and danced as Nick danced and laughed at me. I guess I wasn't bad either but he was better. Once the song ended I reached over and grabbed his hand again.
"I love you," I said bringing his hand to my face to kiss it.
"I love you," he winked back at me making me smile harder.
I turned the camera off as Nick put another song on. I loved making these cute and funny memories with Nick. They were memories that I would never be able to forget, memories that I would never want to try and forget. I knew that this was only the beginning for us.
