Nick's p.o.v

"Ah. California, my second home." Miley giggled. I smiled looking over at her. She had a bright big smile on her face and my heart started fluttering as I watched her smile.

"Did you miss it here?" I asked as we started too walked up the steps to our new house.

"A little bit." She sighed. I could sense her nervousness about living together but I didn't comment on it. I was, in fact, nervous about it myself. It was a bitter sweet feeling but an important step for us to have in our relationship.

"So this is the house?" I asked as I followed her around the house. It was nice and I can see us making it our home.

"Yeah, what do you think?" She asked turning around to look at me.

"I love it." I said honestly.

"Really? I mean, we have to decorate so it will look different once we have all of our stuff in here but I think that the place has a lot of potential." She started to ramble. I could tell that it was because she was nervous and I couldn't help but smile at how silly she was.

"Miley, I said that I love it. And, yes, it will look different once we have everything in here. The important thing is that you and I are happy. I know that I am, are you?" I asked walking closer towards her.

"Yes, of course I am happy." She smiled from ear-to-ear. She walked closer towards me and I wrapped her closely up in my arms. I loved her touch and I found that it was beginning to become a constant craving of mine.

"Well, if it isn't my two favorite people." Joe said from a far.

"Don't you mean your only friends?" I countered.

"I was trying to be nice. And, I'll have you know that I have other people, aside from you two, in my life." Joe said crossing his arms over his chest in a grumpy manor.

"I find that hard to believe." Miley said with a laugh after pulling away from me. She walked over to him and gave him a hug.

"I missed your face." She giggled.

"I missed yours way more." He countered with a wink. They always seemed to have a constant flirty relationship, but, then again, Joe was like that with every women he met.

"Alright, that's enough flirting." I said clearing my throat.

"Oh hey Nick, I almost didn't see you there." Joe chuckled.

"Very funny." I said with an all most serious death stare. I walked towards him and gave him a hug.

"On a serious note, this is a lovely house." Joe said looking around.

"Thanks," Miley smiled looking at him then at me.

"How about we show you around the place?" I asked and Joe agreed.

I held Miley's hand in mine as we showed Joe around the house. I have to admit that this was truly a nice house and a great fresh start for the two of us. I knew that the road ahead was unclear but the important part was that we were together.

"I had your stuff all packed. And the apartment is already sold." Joe started after we were done touring the house.

"Really? Who bought it?" I asked. That apartment was my favorite and it was a nice bachelor pad.

"I did." He smiled from ear-to-ear.

"Of course." I rolled my eyes.

"Anyways, your things will be all moved over here by tomorrow afternoon." He said handing me all the information I needed.

"When is your stuff getting over here?" Joe asked Miley.

"Most of it already is. I had it taken care of while we were on our road trip back. The other things that I didn't want or need is at my parents." She smiled.

"What about your dogs?" I asked. I had totally forgotten about them until now.

"They will be here tomorrow night. I am having a friend bring them from the boarding house." She said.

"I could have taken care of them." Joe said.

"Sure," I said with a roll of my eyes.

"What?" He asked.

"You couldn't even keep our pet goldfish alive." I laughed.

"Oh lord." Miley giggled.

"I think it was sick when we got it." Joe countered.

"Yeah...that makes sense." I shook my head.

"Well, I should get going." Joe said. "I can come over tomorrow and help you guys unpack if you want. I know it will probably be a lot of work." He offered.

"Yeah, that would be nice." Miley and I agree.

We said goodbye to Joe and then had the house to ourselves, which was honestly the best part. Even though the house was empty it was romantic just being alone with Miley.

"Where are we going to sleep?" I asked after we had ordered pizza and eaten all of it.

"Um. I was trying to figure that out. I found a few blankets in one of my boxes and I have some pillows from the road trip." She said walking up to the master bedroom while I followed behind her.

"Good thing the bedroom has carpet." We both chuckled as we started to get ready for bed.

"Can I wear one of your t-shirts, my clothes all need washed?" Miley asked.

"Of course," I smiled. The thought of her wearing my clothes turned me on. My past girlfriends would wear my clothes but it wasn't the same. Miley was a totally different level then they were.

I watched as she went in the bathroom to change. I wish that she wouldn't hide herself from me but I certainly did not want to rush her or scare her off. I made a make shift bed as I waited for her to come out of the bathroom.

"Need any help?" She asked after she came out.

"No, I think it's good. I just want to make is as comfortable as possible." I said laying down. I held my hand up and pulled her down once the light was off. She giggled and cuddled up next to me.

"I love moments like this." She whispered laying on top of me.

"I do too." I said kissing her forehead.

(I know this sucks... I'm not in the zone and haven't been in a while. I'm really trying but I have zero motivation. Hope this isn't too bad. Please comment and vote. Sending extra love for those who have been waiting for me to get my life together lol. Next chapter could be raunchy, if you want. Comment ;) xox)
