Chapter 20:

Morgan

He kissed me, and I kissed him back. It wasn't completely unexpected, just kind of unexpected, but it felt amazing. Sadly, it wasn't my first. My first was lame and terrible and awkward. This felt like it could be my first. It was a burst of feelings and color and everything... just everything. And it didn't stop.

Seth held me close, and I could feel a small smile slowly creeping onto his lips. One of my hands went to his hair while his were at my waist. It's not easy to describe how you're feeling, when you're not even sure yourself, but if explosion was an emotion, then that's what I was feeling.

And then it was over.

It seemed like it lasted longer than it actually did, but when I pulled back to breathe, we both smiled and laughed. Our hands didn't move.

"That was completely impulsive, but I had to do it," Seth said and I laughed before resting my head on his shoulder. I couldn't say anything, I just laughed again. Then my phone buzzed. I looked at it, and it was Liz.

L: I saw that

I looked up to see her face in the window right over the deck. She was smirking. Seth looked up too, and flipped her off. He took my phone and texted her back.

M: You creep, were you watching us that whole time?

L: No, my shades were up, and when I went to close them, I saw you.

M: Why didn't you just open the window?

L: The sliders are broken, remember idiot?

Seth shook his head and handed my phone back to me. I had been reading the texts over his shoulder. He smiled at me again and then went inside.

"Excuse me, I have a sister to kill." He smirked and went inside.

Seth

"I KNEW IT! I KNEW IT!" Liz chanted as she skipped around the kitchen table the next morning. Well, it was more like afternoon. We all slept in and when Morgan woke up, she knew she was going to be late for her family lunch and brought her siblings home.

"Liz, you're acting like a kindergartener."

"I don't care because I was r-i-g-h-t RIGHT!"

"Calm down and eat your breakfast." I put her bagel on the table with a butter knife and cream cheese.

"Why did you take it out of the toaster?"
