Day's Gone By

Y/N left his home in Yongen-Jaya as he had done for the past few weeks heading towards Shujin.
The past few weeks had been eventful for Y/N to say the least, one thing unfortunately being an exam week. However, with Makoto's help in tutoring him he managed to fly by the tests with relative ease; scoring low A's and high B's which he was proud of.
The pair had made a habit now of studying together during lunch or after school occasionally if they didn't have other plans, always joined by Haru for lunch if she wasn't busy.

He also learned about what happened just before he had joined Shujin. Apparently an asshole named Kamoshida used to run the volleyball team, abusing various students; ultimately getting away with it because of his reputation as a former Olympic athlete. Honestly, being told what he had done by Ann, and Ryuji sickened him.
Thankfully however, he had a change of hearts because of a group calling themselves the Phantom Thieves.
The same group responsible for the recent change in a famous artist Ichiyrusai Madarame's heart.
Apparently they were a real group.

Y/N managed a lot of fun with his friends too during this time. Makoto and himself went on more dates together outside of Shibuya, such as Kichijoji and the Inokashira park. Occasionally when she was free they would also bring Haru with them - one fun event was ironically the day the school went to help clean up Inokashira park, but his group with Haru, and Makoto ordering him around was something he couldn't help reminiscing fondly on.

Their small trio became so close within such a short time period which was often something Y/N would hear being discussed in the corridors of school. Always something about him and Makoto, or Haru being in a relationship; or about the two girls finally getting friends of their own. The last part pissed Y/N off especially, but he let it go as the girls never seemed to mind.

Speaking of rumours. Y/N was also made aware of Ren Amamiya's criminal record. He was one of his closest friends so he knew he was a good guy, but the idea of someone like Ren with a record at such a young age had Y/N worried for the second year student. He knew he was a genuine person, so how come he had an assault charge? That was something Y/N pondered a lot when he was with Ren. Especially the time him, Ryuji, Ren and Makoto all went to the gym in Shibuya together. Unfortunately Ann couldn't join them because she had a modelling job that day, but the next time they went they would would go as a group she promised. The remaining group however, all had a lot of fun exercising together, and Y/N's friendships with everyone made him feel at home finally after moving around Japan. Y/N and Makoto finally had their sparring match around that time as well which ended in a draw for the two, which Ryuji thought was hilarious as he and Ren watched the pair fight eachother.

The R-R-A group also picked up a new member; Yusuke Kitagawa. He was the former pupil of Madarame. Y/N felt sorry for the guy for going through his master's abuse. Although, he had only met him sparingly a few times.

Finally, the other world. Y/N had entered that ominous place six times since he was first transported there. Each time descending at least one floor at a time, making it six floors he had officially lowered. The twin berettas he had bought from the gun shop were really pulling their weight fighting shadows. The gun store, run by a man named Iwai was a unique place in itself, selling a variety of model weapons from Assault Rifles, Whips, Swords, Shotguns, and Axes just to name a few. Though he was only interested in upgrading his Naginata and Berettas personally.
Iwai was suspicious about such a young guy being interested in buying weapons at first, but it didn't take much to convince him he was just interested. Apparently he had another customer around a similar age to Y/N aswell.

Y/N had made sure to keep himself safe and out of trouble in the hazy world to not worry his friends if he ever turned up injured, or just never turned back up at all... he wouldn't die, he refused to.
