Chapter 10

She just froze as if ahewas a statue. What the hell, I just make one comment about her being herself and she freezes. The bell finally rings breaking her trance. She races off without a word like she is trying to get away from me. What did I do, well say to make herfreak out like that. I head to my chemistry class because that's my fifth.

I see Tina sitting next to Luke, he's a smart werewolf who's good at science and math. Juniper sits next to another band kid of course and I head to the last pair of empty seats. I personally hate having a partner since I feel like they would only get in the way. But to my luck I hear someone sit next to me just as the bell rings. Great now I'm stuck with this person for the rest of the year.

"Hello class I'm Ms. Kayla your chemistry teacher. The person sitting next to you will be your partner for this whole year. So I hope you choose wisely" she smiles happily. Too bad I didn't get to choose.

"Are you okay with me being your partner" I turn to see Carter sitting there looking at me. No way, she's my partner? It might be good.

"Sure if you promise to be my friend" I say patronizing her. She glares at me and frowns. She's a lot prettier when she smiles.

"I'm going to kill you" she says emotionless. What that did she just say?

"What" I ask worried and confused.

"I'm going to kill you if you don't shut up" she groans leaing back in her seat. Oh okay thay sounds much better.

"Sorry" I raise my hands upto my ears in surrender. She huffs and smirks a bit before goig back to her normal blank stare.

The teacher explains what we are going to be doing this year and other stuff like rules. That's basically what today is all about, going over the rules and what is being planned for the school year. It's annoying really by the fifth class. As the bell rings everyone shuffles out just wanting to get today over with. Just one more class and the day is over, so what do I have next? Oh yeah government, that's going to be loads of fun.
