Chapter 21

Once I entered I sat with Tina and the others. Yup, I have no one better.

"Why are you here?" Tina snaps at me.

"I don't amhave any friends." I tell her making her feel bad.

"Why not?" She asks.

"Because they all died." I say making her look in horror. I wasn't lying but I do love the look on her face till someone knew walked in. He had dirty blonde hair and glowing green eyes and definitely a rogue.

"What are you doing here Mike." Tina snaps at him. Yup a rogue, or a son of one.

"I came here for someone special." He smirks at me. Okay so he wants Isaacs girl. Wait did I just admit that I'm Isaacs girl, well I'm his love intrest at the moment yes. God I'm looking too deep into this aren't I?

"Who's your next victim?" Tina snaps at him.

"You're sitting next to her, Carter's right?" He looks at me with his glowing green eyes. Prick, I would rather be with Isaac. What am I say, ugh.

"Leave me alone. I don't want you player." I sigh just not in the mood to be rude.

"Oh I will change that sweetheart." He winks. He's trying too hard.

"That's what they all say." I stare at him with a deadpan expression. Yes I am the worse things for a man's ego. My years of being asked out and putting men down is a very long trail of deflated egos.

"So there has been many who have tried and failed, but I won't fail babe." He says. That ego is so going down, yes it's fun watching them deflate.

"Mike give up now this chick is your mortal enemy." Tina chuckles. What does she know?

"Just because she's an independent woman who hates player's doesn't mean I won't break her." He says confidently. Oh that's what they mean.

The bell rings and I basically ran out of there. I can't stand him, he makes Isaac look like an angel, it doesn't mean I like him. I go through my next classes even with Isaac there, but Juniper is like a child wanting my attention. He's so annoying, I wish he would just leave me alone.

"Juniper I really don't care about ladybugs or which ones are males are females." I tell him. All he does is talk.

"Sorry." He looks down and blushes. Darn it I feel like such a jerk now. But he finally stopped talking so I'm happy. I guess you lose some and win some. Oh god he's in this class. I watch as Mike struts in.

"Hey cute thing." He sits next to me and I see at the other girls glare at me. I hate men, they use me to compete with each other, can't I just learned without assholes using me as a pawn.

"Leave me alone or I will make sure you won't be able to be with another woman." I snapped at him. He went silently for the rest of the period and it was finally lunch. Time to talk with Isaac, well better now then later.
