Chapter 45

After the big duel between Tylor and Isaac was over I was relieved. 'Our mate proved himself.' My wolf says proudly. Yes he did.

"Isaac." I run to him and hug him. I see a few bruises and scratches on him from the fight.

" Hey babe." He smiles but hisses from the pain.

"Lets get you inside and all patched up." I say guiding him to the house. "Ramsey get the doctor, Mike help me." I command them. All I was thinking during the fight was that if anything happened to Isaac I couldn't live with myself.

Mike and I lay him down on the table as Tina and Juniper enter. "He looks pretty bad." Tina comments.

"You should see the other guy." Isaac jokes and it makes me smile.

"Babe relax now, I don't want you to get hurt anymore." I tell him and he nods. 'Our mate is okay?' My wolf asks concerned. Yes, he's going to live don't worry.

"I got the doctor." Ramsey tells me as the doctor comes in.

"Becky will you help me." The doctor asks Isaac's sister.

"Of course, what tools do we need?" She asks.

"Well we need to get everyone out." The doctor tells me.

"You heard him, let's get out." I tell everyone as they walk out the door. I look back at Isaac. Our mate will be fine.

As we sit outside waiting I see the pack gather outside. 'They look at us for guidance.' My wolf tells me. I know, but I'm scared.

"Do you think he'll be okay?" Juniper asks.

"Yes, he's strong, smart and my mate." I smile at him. "He won and now the vampires are gone." I say with pride.

"What about that one?" Someone from the crowd asks.

"He's loyal to us. And my friend. He can be trusted to protect us all." I tell them standing tall. Even in a time of crisis I must remain strong.

"How do you know that?" A female asks.

"Without him we would have been attacked by the vampires, and I knew him when he was human." I tell them all.

"I have no enemies here only friends and a mate." He looks at Luke.

"How can that be possible?" She asks.

"My mother was a human and she was my father's mate." Mike says to everyone.

"Your mate is your soul mate, it doesn't matter if they are man, beast or monster." I say to all of them.

The doctor opened the door and we waited to hear what is going on. "He's going to live, just needs to rest for a bit." He smiles at me. Our mate is going to live, I'm so happy.
