Oh great the whole pack is here. I hold onto Carter protectively. 'She is our mate.'. My wolf tells me. I know that's why I want to protect her.

"Who are these people?" Carter asks me.

"They are the pack." Tina says glaring at her. I growl at Tina. 'No one challenges our mate.' Me and my wolf agree.

"Why are they here?" Carter asks me.

"Because you are Isaac's mate." Candace says.

"And the pack can sense it." I answer her unspoken question.

"Yeah, congrats Carter." Mike shoves off the wall.

"How am I your mate?" She asks. 'She's not denying us, only questioning.' My wolf reassures me.

"We are like soul mates, we were meant to meet and well now we are meant to be together." I try to explain. 'You really suck at this don't you?' He asks very disappointed. Oh shush this is the first time I've done this okay. I snapped back at him.

"Well I guess it's like that, it's just like your souls will find each other no matter what and once you meet you know it is true love." Luke explains.

"Oh, that makes sense." Carter smiles at me. She muzzled my neck and I smell her hair. Just like the forest.

"So my son has found his mate." My father announces. The pack howls and cheers. "And what is your name young one?" He asks kindly.

"I'm Carter." She says nervously but not of fear but of embarrassment. 'She's still naked dim wit.' My wolf snaps at me. I know now shut up.

"Carter is a very strange name for a girl, but some how it fits you my dear." He says kindly. Are you kidding me, he isn't this nice to me.

"Yes sir." She says standing tall. 'Our mate is strong.' My wolf says as if pleased.

"Shall we go?" I ask her.

"Why? We need to celebrate." My father insists making the pack cheer again.

"Sir, I would very much like to change before we celebrate." Carter tells him.

"Oh, of congress my dear." He chuckles.

We start to walk away but it seems the pack wants to follow. Ugh, can't we be alone?

"Sis?" Chris asks as she walks up with Ramsey.

"I brought you an extra pair of clothes." Ramsey smiles at Carter. 'She's our mate!' My wolf growls.

"Thank you Ramsey." She smiles at him.

"He told me everything, so you are an alpha?" Chris asks. Wait how did Ramsey know?

"It seems so. Come on in, let's all celebrate." She tells everyone. Well this is going to be very interesting. I just hope nothing goes wrong.
