Chapter 36

Today was the day of her 15th birthday and I had her gift all ready and I was ready to go. She's going to love it.

"Where do you think you are going?" Candace says to me.

"A friends birthday party." I tell her.

"And why am I hearing about this now?" She snaps. Only because she's the oldest she thinks she's my mother.

"Short notice, I have to go now. Bye." I race out the door with her yelling at me to come back. Oh hell no I'm not going back when I have to be there for my amazing girlfriend.

I come to her apartment even though it's way early I knock on the door. When it opens I see the amazing birthday girl. I hug her and spin her around. "Stop it!" She laughs.

I put her down before kissing her softly. "Happy birthday babe." I hand her my gift and she puts it on the table.

"That is for later." She smiles happily. She smells different.

"Hey glad to see that you made it." Michael walks in behind me and closes the door. Oh yeah he was invited too.

"You guys ready?" Ramsey asks as he continues to help Chris.

"What is he..." Carter shushes me.

She whispers, "I said that he is another of my friends." Oh that makes sense.

"Hey I'm Mike." Mike puts his hand out for Ramsey. Carter basically mimes for him to shake it and he does. Well this is going to be a strange day.

"I'm Rick." Ramsey says simply before going back to what he was doing.

We talk for a while, play games and have fun till she was ready to open her presents. "So which on first." Carter asks when there was a knock on the door.

"I'll get it." Ramsey says as he gets up and opens it letting in the two people Carter and I did not want to see. Why did they have to come.

"Hello Carter, happy birthday." Tina says with a very sarcastic tone. Why does she have to ruin everything?

"Happy birthday." Juniper says nicely. "We bought you a present." He holds up a box. Oh great what could it be?

"Thank you, just place it with the others." Carter says with a very tight smile.

"Chris want to go for a walk?" Ramsey asks nervously and he could feel the tension.

"With Ramsey of course." Chris agrees and they walk out. What was that for?

"Now that my sister is gone we can really talk." Carter smirks. Oh god she's going to tell them. "I know you are all werewolves, things is I'm a..." All of a sudden she grabs her stomach and whimpers as she lays on the floor.

"Carter are you all right, please babe." I tell her softly. Please be okay. Please Carter, I love you.
