Facts about the Fic

-I wrote the first act purely by only watching spoilers and reading articles and critics writing about the movie because it took a while for the movie to be released in my country

-I got the idea for this when I saw a spoiler of Tsukasa getting his ass beat by Kōhei Amagai and I wondered "what if Kōhei had a girlfriend who didn't approve of this" and there came the idea of Gigi/Gina Miyama

-if you didn't notice, I changed Ryo's father from being Kōhei's driver to another old money guy cuz it just fit better

-he isn't like old old money but like middle-aged money and Kōhei's father just helped him from bankruptcy and yeah

-i feel like if just fit better

-If they release another movie based on The Worst Series I may continue this following into that movie or short series but otherwise,, this is officially completed

-also yeah I implied Tsukasa having a one sided crush on Fujio

-Gigi is also bisexual

-I wrote the bonus part of the fic way after I finished writing the entire fic,,, I was just not ready to let go and I found that I still had so many ideas

Original version of the fic:

-Originally, before I had Reiji as the main lead, Gigi was supposed to walk in on the 3 alliance meeting in the restaurant place cuz she was looking for Kōhei since

-in the og version she doesn't find out he's cheating.

-but when she walks in on the meetings, she hears Kōhei tell the boys that he's using her, the plan and hears of Kōhei telling Saboten to take care of Shidaken

-she accidentally reveals herself but runs and tried to call Todoroki or someone but no one picks up and she doesn't have any one from Housen's number except Sachio but he's not there

-anyways, Gigi gets caught and beaten then taken to Senomen and held captive.

-the next day she escapes just before they bring Tsukasa and she runs to Oya to tell them but it's too late

-then it just goes on as I've written it

Facts about Gigi/Gina Miyama

-This fanfiction is very much a self-insert

-If you didn't notice, when I wrote the mc at Senomen or with Kōhei, I wrote her name as Gina and when she was at Oya or with Reiji I wrote her name as Gigi. I tried to highlight the fact that she was different a different person in those places, I'm not sure if I did it right though because it's my first time trying

- When writing Reiji from Gigi's pov I listened to Cinnamon Girl by Lana Del Ray. I know Cinnamon Girl is technically about an unhealthy relationship but the line "if you hold me without hurting me, you'll be the first whoever did" reminded me of Gigi not being loved by Kōhei and then Reiji actually loving her. I'm not sure how to word it but I hope you guys understand, someone comment a better explanation if you get it and I'll credit you for it 😭

-when writing the scenes between Oya Kou boys and Gina I watched videos I have on my phone from High School for inspiration

-long story short, a lot of what I have written on my own that is not a part of the canon storyline is very much based on real life; including the setting things on fire/vandalism throughout the fic by Todoroki faction

-And the big reveal: the reason why Gigi didn't think what she was doing with Reiji or those things with Todoroki was cheating even though it very much is, it's because she lost feelings for Kōhei during their first fight about Aya in chapter 5 and how he told her he was basically seducing her. This is also based on real life; I'm pretty sure I have some kind of mental problem for losing feeling for my s/o's right after one big fight but 🤪

-When Gigi cried over Kōhei it wasn't because she was sad about him cheating(well partly yeah but not completely) she was sad because all this time it was a lie. Well not really sad I would say she was angrier that she had wasted so much time on a guy like him and then that anger just made her feel really sad so she cried

-like Gigi, I also don't have a good relationship with my mom and have a better one with my dad

-long story short, this is very much a self-insert,, except the cheating, I'm not a cheater 😭

Facts about Reiji Himuro

-When writing Gigi from Reiji's pov I listened to War of Hearts by Ruelle

-Reiji's character is based on this guy I've had a crush on since 6th grade and since right now I'm in my first year of University(2022/23 is my first year and 2026 is my last year), you can already tell how much I liked him and still do so it's been 8-9 years since I've had feelings for him. Unfortunately, it's still very much unrequited :( He was honestly a really great guy and the song Cinnamon Girl(my interpretation of the song not the actual meaning) really reminds me of him which is why I listened to that song while writing Reiji through Gigi's eyes.

-Reiji who is based on my crush is also kind of an asshole like all boys are. All of those unnecessary sexual jokes or jokes about the mc's body are also from real-life experiences because let's be real, all close guy friends are pieces of shit no matter how nice they seem

Facts about Kōhei Amagai

-the things Kohei does in this like the little acts of manipulation, emotional abuse and other things was actually based on a relationship I had in 11th grade, following into 12th. It was a 9 months long relationship and that guy was an actual piece of shit and like in this fic, my friends did not want to say anything and be the reason we broke up. So lmfao Gigi kicking Kohei in the face was personal

-so yeah Kōhei is based off my shitty first ex who ruined relationships for me forever and I still haven't been able to get into one without having literal war flashbacks lol

-Kōhei and Gigi's theme song is Bored by Billie Eilish

Facts about Reiji and Gigi's relationship

-well I don't remember saying Reiji and Gigi were going to end up together in the end lol

-if I had to give their relationship a song it would be Swim by Chase Atlantic and if you've listened to it then you know exactly what I was going for here

-Gigi and Reiji not ending up together was kind of my way of finally giving myself time to heal after my shitty ass relationship which I did not do

-I never once said Reiji was a good guy

-If you wanted them to get together then I guess you can imagine they get together at some point later

-I feel like Gigi loosing her virginity to Reiji was a bit of a spontaneous idea but I feel like it works in terms of what I see their relationship as
