GINA WAS ANGRY
She couldn't believe she had let this happen to her. Her sadness quickly turned into anger, especially when Ryo told her Kōhei knew all along she was from Oya High. It made so much sense to her now, why Kōhei spent so much time with her and never pressed her on knowing her past or childhood. It was because he already knew it. Kōhei knew who her friends were, he knew where she grew up, he knew she had been in the container war and he knew she was a part of the murder tower war against the drug dealers. Kōhei knew everything and it was the biggest betrayal she had ever faced, not even Kōhei cheating on her all this time made her that angry.
It was Ryo who texted her later, telling her what Kōhei told him— Kōhei had been dating Aya since forever, and Gigi was the other woman, not Aya. It made her mad. So mad, the anger was consuming her. It felt like she didn't have an outlet to release it even though she knew she did. Gina could easily just pick a fight in the street and beat up some random guy but no, Gina wanted to hurt him.
But her anger melted back into sadness when she was with Reiji. Perhaps being with Reiji was just as nice as being with her friends.
There were people following her now, bright red uniforms showing up too close to Oya High and Gigi already knew a war was coming once she broke up with Kōhei. If they'll win, she doesn't know.
