4 Almost caught

Just basically the gay hedgehogs being gay, and almost getting caught 💀. (NOT IN A DIRTY WAY!!)

                ~A few weeks later~
                      Shadow's POV
Me and Sonic had decided a few weeks ago to keep our relationship a secret from his friends, and the few friends I have. We really didn't want the drama of how they'd react so we instead kept hanging out in secret like we would always do anyway. Usually we would hang out at the park when we know that no one was gonna show up to catch us talking to eachother. They still think we're rivals so it would just make us either have to make up an excuse or tell the truth, and we didn't feel like doing either of those things. Right now we were at my house hanging out in my room, and thankfully Rouge wasn't going to bother me today. "Woah, your room is so- it matches you." Sonic said as we both walked into my room, and he closed the door behind him. "What, did you expect to see a bunch of rainbows on my walls?" (Haha, get it? Sorry 💀) I questioned him jokingly, he laughed. "I mean it would match you still." He giggled at his own joke. "Haha, so funny hedgehog." I looked at him as I said that sarcastically just making him giggle again. Chaos his laugh is so cute, I can't take it. I turned around, grabbed him by his waist, and kissed him. He had a shocked face for a second, but that's all I saw before I closed my eyes slowly feeling him relax into my touch. He put his arms around my neck, and I pulled him just slightly closer to me. We stayed like that for a while longer until I gradually pulled my lips away from his. We both stayed silent for a moment until I spoke up, "You're too adorable.." I muttered. "Well if that isn't the nicest thing you have ever said to me." He smirked, and I rolled my eyes, but put my head on his as he put his face on my chest fluff. I heard his muffled voice, "I'm glad I get to see this side of you Shadz." I let out a small smile, how did I ever manage to be his rival? "I'm.. Sorry, for being rude to you, before I mean." I said after a good second of another silence. "It's okay, I didn't really think about it much anyway." He said back with his still muffled voice. It wad kinda funny, him having that voice, it almost made me chuckle. "Don't you mind me not being able to hear you?" He shrugged at the question as in a 'not really.' "I don't really feel like standing.. Can we lay down?" He looked up at me. "Sure." I said, and let go of him as he did the same. He went and layed down while I followed, and did the same on the other side of the bed. I felt his arms wrap around me again, and I hugged him back. For the last while after me and Sonic finally these out to each other I felt.. Lighter? Happier. It was nice, to have this kind of feeling for someone, even if he used to be my rival. Suddenly I heard soft snoring, and looked at him, he was asleep already. I now had to be careful not to wake him, because I wasn't tired. I put my head on his own, grabbed my phone, and started scrolling through it.
                      ~A few hours later~
I was still scrolling through my phone when Sonic started to wake up, he had pulled me closer to him from when he fell asleep until now. He fully woke up, let go of me, and yawned sitting up. I looked at him. "How long was I asleep?" He asked me in a drowsy voice. I looked at my phone, "About 2 hours, why?" "Crap- I told Tails I'd go to the store to buy him some parts for one of his machines!" He immediately got up, and got his shoes on that he had taken off a while before he went to bed. I sat up, "I would go with you, but then people would get suspicious." "That's fine! I should be back in around an hour or so." He dashed away, and out of the house as I heard the front door open and close quickly. "What now?" I asked myself quietly just as the door to the house opened again. I guess Rouge is back, hopefully she didn't see Sonic leave. I heard footsteps heading to my room as she knocked as hard as she always does. "What." I asked, back to my monotone voice. She opened the door, and walked in, "Oh darling don't speak to me that way, but why did I see Sonic leaving~?" She had the voice that she suspected something. "He was pestering me. Now get out of my room." I kept my same voice. "Uh huh, I totally believe you hun." She waved me off, and walked out shutting my door. Great. Now she's gonna catch onto it, I sighed. "He needs to be more careful." I muttered.
