                      Sonic's POV
I had just gotten thrown to the ground hard as my most constant bully started to hit me over and over hard enough that I knew it was going to bruise, which was normal for me, but I obviousky didn't like it. I wish I could fight back, bur I can't as all I can do is let it happen so I don't get blackmailed. I blocked it with my arms so that I could atleast cover it up later until I saw Shadow walk over obviously angry, and throw them to a wall knocking them out quickly. I stayed quiet not quite knowing what to say, but lowered my arms because I trusted him. "What the hell was that faker?!" He looked at me. "I-" I still didn't know what to say. "It was nothing.." I stood up rather quickly just wanting to run off, but he blocked the path to leave. "It wasn't nothing. You were just getting practically beat!" He retorted in response. I stayed quiet again, looking at my feet. "Sonic. Answer me. How long has this been going on?! Why didn't you fight back?!" He was asking tons of questions, and I don't blame him. "All of that is private." Is all I could say in response to him. "Sonic, if you tell someone than you don't have to deal with it anymo-" I cut him off, looking at him now. "No! If I tell anyone they're just gonna make it worse. It's not gonna end okay?! Just leave it be- pretend you didn't see anything." I snapped back without thinking. He stared at me for a moment before having a look that I've never seen on him before. He was worried. "Sonic please-" Is all he responded with. I looked back at my feet. "No Shadow, it's not going to help." I responded with the same thing. "Again, pretend you didn't see anything." I quickly added only to feel Shadow grab my arm, and pull me close. He just hugged me. Shadow, the monotone ebony hedgehog is hugging me. I hugged back, it felt nice to hug him. He held my chin making me look up at him. "Sonic. I can't pretend I didn't see that when-" He hesitated. Why did he hesitate? What was he going to say? My mind was racing with a million questions a second. But instead of saying anything to finish his sentence he just pulled my face to his making our lips meet before I could say anything in protest, not that I was going to, but it did surprise me. My eyes widened looking at the ebony hedgehog that was holding me. His eyes were closed, and my own slowly did the same as I let myself kiss him back. I felt shocked, but I loved it at the same time. We held a passionate kiss for a few seconds before he broke it, and I looked at him. I could feel my cheeks were flushed now, and I didn't know what to say. "You-" I looked at his dark ruby eyes as my face felt hot. "What does this make us..?" I asked now curious of what his response would be. "Well, what do you want us to be?" He returned my question with another. I pressed our lips together again closing my eyes as my answer. I felt him get shocked, but he gradually returned the kiss. I felt his gloved hands slowly make their way down to my waist, pulling me closer to the ebony hedgehog. We both held the kiss for much longer, I didn't want this moment to ever end. It was beautiful, eventually though I pulled away as I needed desperately to breathe. I looked at his chest fur for a second. It looked.. Soft, I started messing with the soft looking fur. I saw Shadow's muzzle get darker from blush out of the corner of my eye, and giggled quietly. I couldn't believe it, I'm dating Shadow, how would everyone react.. Do we tell them? I pushed the thoughts away, wrapped my arms around Shadow, and put my muzzle in his chest fluff. I smiled.
