Lorelai (Lorie) Mae Sanders is a 26-year-old media liaison who lives in Turner, Michigan. She enjoys relaxing, camping and watching YouTube videos. She is lovable and gentle, but can also be very boring and a bit selfish. She has a degree in philosophy, politics and economics, but also a masters in media management. She grew up in a working class neighborhood. After her mother died when she was young, she was raised by her father. She is currently talking to someone after her most recent romance was with a lab assistant named Gilbert Campbell, who was the same age as her. They broke up because Gilbert felt that she was too lazy for the relationship to move forwards. Because of that, Lorie turned to online dating.
William (Will) Halstead is a doctor, an attending physician in emergency medicine at Chicago Med. He is the older brother of Jay Halstead, who's a detective with the Chicago Police Department's Intelligence Unit out of the 21st District. Will put himself through college and medical school with no support from his father. After a couple years with Chicago Med, and falling for his co-workers, he decided to try his luck for online dating. Maybe if he separated work and personal life, it might be easier for him to focus on his job.
