Elsa watched in awe as the bookshelf slid aside revealing a very large room. Anna was inside doing.... gymnastics?
All three girls mouths dropped open as they watched the princess flip across the room. She landed her routine in a breathtaking double back flip!
The three older girls clapped loudly, startling the young princess. "That was amazing" Audrey gushed. Anna looked down. "Thanks but my parents would never approve".
"And do you listen" Izzy asked. Anna looked up at her, confused. "Why wouldn't I"?
"Elsa never does" Audrey pointed out smirking at her blond friend. "Well duh" Elsa laughed, "how else do you think I would go out and flip over the town on a banner"?
The four of them erupted into laughter. "Well come on" Anna said through her giggles. She gestured towards the room behind the bookshelf which was still open. The four girls stepped in and the bookshelf slid closed behind them with a soft thud.
"Wow" Elsa looked around. The room had one wall covered in weapons. Small platforms were scattered across the room for people to dual on. In one corner of the room was an old obstacle course with a big lever by the side.
"What do you think" Anna asked, walking over to the weapon wall. "It's amazing" all Audrey and Elsa said in unison.
Izzy walked over to the weapon wall and pulled off the matching whip to the one that was in her hand. "Pick your weapon" she smiled.
Anna took a sword and boomerang off the wall. Audrey rushed over to the wall and excitedly grabbed a sling shot off the wall. Then she smirked.
Audrey grabbed a sliver sword off the wall. "Hey Elsa" she called, "catch". With that she threw the sword in her direction.
Elsa gasped as the sword came sailing her way. She jumped into a backflip. The end of the sword caught her foot and went sailing straight up in the air.
Elsa landed on her feet and jumped up and grabbed the sword as it fell from the air. "Caught it" Elsa grinned.
Anna looked impressed. Izzy was smiling and Audrey looked shocked. Elsa laughed at her friends expressions.
"Anyway" Anna said, getting all their attentions. She walked over to the weapon wall and pulled off two more boomerangs. "We have training to do".
And that's what they did. For the next three or four hours they trained, dueled and did the obstacles course. Despite how young she was Anna managed to beat Izzy and Audrey in a dual. She and Elsa tied. Elsa was impressed with her skill for the age of 8
. "That was amazing" Elsa commented the princess and dropped her sword, "I didn't expect you to hold up that long". Anna shrugged and tossed her boomerang in the air.
"I'm smarter and braver than people give me credit for". She caught the boomerang and placed it back on the weapon wall. "I do that so when I save people one day I can go and run it in the musketeers face".
The three older girls laughed. "So gonna do that" Audrey laughed. "Same" Izzy chuckled. Elsa smiled. She looked out one of the giant windows in the room and at the town clock.
It was 6:20. She reluctantly hung her sword back on the wall and turned to her friends. "We probably should go clean something" she said, "before we get fired and don't have an excuse to come back here".
Izzy and Audrey looked back at each other and shrugged. She DID have a point. Anna nodded, "meet me here at noon tomorrow".
The princess walker over to the wall where they had come in and pushed the books spine outward. The bookshelf slide aside once more, revealing the library. The four girls walked out and the bookshelf closed.
"I'll see you guys tomorrow" Anna waved and ran off. Elsa watched her leave before saying, "who else thinks this is awesome"?!
"Me" Izzy and Audrey said in unison. Elsa chuckled. "Let's go" she said and the thee of them walked out from the library.
Right as they rounded the corner there was a very loud crash! Elsa snapped her head in the direction and took off running down the hall, her friends close behind.
The three of them skidded to a stop at the entrance to the ballroom at the top of a set of stairs. In the center of the ballroom was Hiccup and the crystal chandelier!
Only Hiccup's foot was pinned under it! Elsa gasped, and he hands flew over her mouth. Suddenly she heard a very faint groan. She spun around only to see Hans walking off, his fists bailed.
Elsa felt her anger boil up. 'How dare he' she fumed. Elsa jumped on the staircase railing and slid down to the main floor of the ballroom.
"Are you ok, Hiccup" she cried and rushed over to the prince. She dropped to her knees by his head. Hiccup groaned and looked up at her.
"I'm fine" he managed, "I just think I lost circulation to my foot". Elsa cringed and looked over at the chandelier, then the the princes ankle.
It looked like it had pushed his ankle inward and possible sprained it. Elsa grabbed one of the rings of the chandelier and tried to push it off the prince.
He cringed and made an attempt to grab his ankle. "Sorry" Elsa muttered, then looked up at her friends, "a little help here".
Her friends snapped out of their shock and rushed down to help Elsa. With one finally effort the three of them managed to push the chandelier off the prince.
Elsa held out her hand, which Hiccup accepted and Elsa pulled him to his feet. She pulled him a little to quickly and he fell into her arms. (I know it's usually the other way around but just go with it!)
Hiccups face turned bright red and quickly pushed himself to his feet. "You ok" Elsa asked, trying to keep from blushing.
Hiccup brushed the dust off his jacket. "I'm ok, thank you". "Your welcome" Elsa responded, slightly blushing. Just then two musketeers, the king and queen rushed into the ballroom.
"What happened" Queen Annabelle shirked. Hiccup glanced up at his mother. ""Uh, the chandelier fell on me". Annabelle gasped and rushed over. "How, when, are you ok"?!
"Mom in fine" Hiccup groaned. King Zachary hurried over to his son. "I'll call the doctor" he said and quickly rushed off.
Annabelle looked at the musketeers in the room. "Please, help him to his bedroom" she begged, then turned to Elsa. "Go with him to see if he needs anything". Elsa nodded, "of course your majesty".
The musketeers helped the limping Prince out of the room while Elsa follower behind them. She heard her friends reassuring the queen that the rope probably just snapped.
But Elsa had no doubt in her mind that Hans had cut the rope on purpose, hoping it would smash the prince. She sighed, it would be a long week.
