The girls were serving dinner in the large dinning room later that evening. Hiccup was avoiding looking up at Elsa and had requested that Izzy serve him and Jack. Audrey was serving his parents and Elsa was serving Anna and Hans when he showed up.
Elsa was a little confused and a little hurt. Was he avoiding her? Why? She didn't question it and continued with her chores. Just then the doors to the dinning room flew open.
Everyone's heads snapped up as Hans and three guards barged in. Each guard went for one of the girls and started to pull them towards the door.
"Hey let me go" Elsa shouted and rammed her heal into the guards chest. "Little brat" the guard, who happened to be Jasper hissed. "What is going on" Annabelle demanded.
"These girls have been stealing from princess Anna" Hans explained calmly.
"What" everyone in the room shirked.
"We would never" Audrey exclaimed.
"I never stole anything" Izzy cried.
"Hans your dead" Elsa muttered so that only Hans would here. Hans smirked and stepped over to his uncle.
"I saw these three girls snooping in Anna's room" Hans said, "they stole her jewelry".
"Hey I'm the only one in here who snoops in people's room" Anna shouted, standing from the table. When everyone stared at her she sank back down in her chair, "opps".
"Yeah about that can I have that picture back" Hiccup asked, glaring at Anna. "Um I don't have it anymore" Anna said sheepishly.
Elsa rolled her eyes and slammed Jasper into the wall. "Here" she pulled the paper out of her skirt pocket and handed it to Hiccup. Then she turned to Hans. "Now about stealing from Anna. We never did that"!
"Quiet" Zachary shouted. Instantly the whole room got quiet. "Your majesty" Izzy stammered, "we never stole anything"!
"But I saw them" Hans insisted. Zachary stood from his seat. "We shall see. We will search your room. If you have nothing to hide, it shouldn't be a problem".
"Go ahead" Elsa snapped, "we never stole anything"! "Come dear" Zachary said to his wife. "Kids stay here".
"But" all three royals protested but Zachary held up his hand. "No" he said sternly, "now go to Hiccups room and stay there"! The three royals looked at each other, dejected. "Yes father" Hiccup mumbled and they slowly left the room.
Hiccup stopped at Elsa and handed her back the paper. "Keep it" he mumbled before turning away and walking down the hall. Elsa felt a tear slip down her cheek before she was yanked from the room and down the hall.
"You can let me go" she hissed. "Not happening" Jasper snapped and continued dragging her down the hall.
They reached their bedroom and Annabelle opened the door. "We didn't steal anything" Audrey insisted.
"I want to believe you" Annabelle said gently, "this is just to be sure".
Hans stood off the side and smirked. They were going to be in so much trouble.
Jasper and the other guards began to search the room. In less than a minute Jasper pulled a necklace out from who-knows-where.
"What" the girls gasped. "we didn't put that there"! Hans mentally complimented himself.
The other two guards pulled out more jewelry. "Hans" Elsa muttered and shot a glare at him. He just smirked.
Zachary and Annabelle looked shock. Finally Zachary cleared his throat. "I'm sorry girls but with this kind of evidence" his voice trailed off. "We need to place you in the dungeon. Stealing from the princess is a very serious matter".
The girls were at a loss for words. They didn't steal! Elsa had no doubt this was Hans doing. All they could do was slowly follow the guards down to the dungeon where they were thrown not-so-nicely into a cell.
Jasper slammed the door and locked it. He smirked and left with the others. Only Annabelle stayed. "You majesty" Elsa said, walking over. "Do you honestly think I would do this? Especially after I jumped over the railing to save your son"?
Annabelle shook her head. "I don't. But Zachary has more power over me. But I can let you go in two days". Audrey gasped. "But that's after the town party! And the coronation"! Annabelle sighed. "I'm sorry girls" she said sadly and left the room.
"What are we gonna do" Audrey wailed. Elsa grasped the cell bars and turned to her friends. "We're breaking out".
Hiccup was pacing back in forth in his bedroom. "Please stop pacing" Jack complained, "it's giving me a headache"! Hiccup stopped and shook his head. "Elsa wouldn't steal" he said, "she's too kind".
Jack raised an eyebrow. "Well she wouldn't steal" Hiccup rephrased his statement. "Neither would her friends".
Jack looked at Anna who mouthed, 'Hans'. He nodded his head in agreement. Suddenly the door opened and Annabelle stepped in. "What happened" Hiccup exclaimed.
Annabelle sighed. "Zachary placed them in the dungeon". Hiccups eyes shot wide. "However I can release them in two days".
"What" Hiccup gasped, "but they won't be here for my coronation"! Annabelle paced her hand on his shoulder. "I'm sorry Hiccup" she said quietly. "You three should get some sleep. Oh and try to have a good time at the party tomorrow, ok". Her children sadly nodded and Annabelle left the room.
"Night" Jack said quietly and left the room". Anna approached her brother. "Sorry about taking the picture, you know how I am". Hiccup slightly chuckled. "Its fine". He paused. "Um I'm sure Hans would kill me if he caught me so could you give this to Elsa"? He pulled out a small sheet of paper.
"First thing tomorrow" Anna promised as she took it. "Well, goodnight". She left the room. "Night" Hiccup mumbled and laid down on his bed.
